Compared to some on here, I guess I'm an optimist, as I don't have any worries about this at all. I'm actually quite excited at the prospect of Kelechi maybe getting a chance this year (if needed), or for us to play with only one striker, as I think that one striker should be the long term aim of our team. I think we could tear it up with a 5 man midfield, I think it would strengthen us and allow us to dominate the ball and take the pressure off our defence.

My only slight dissapointment with this window is loaning out Lopes and Huws, as I think Lopes's directness could of given us an extra option off the bench that we otherwise lack and that Huws could offer us bit more cover in central midfield, but generally I'm delighted with how this window has gone. We cannot expect our young players to break into the team if we don't even leave cracks for them to emerge through, and this way we have barely spent a penny this summer.

Both need regular football imo.

The loans don't help City's squad right now, but it helps those two become players rather than sitting on our bench or in many cases not even that.

Iheanacho is so good already that he could possibly play regularly imo but if he doesn't, or Pellegrini doesn't think he's ready, then he needs to go out on loan too. we can't have them doing nothing.

now with falcao gone to ragss selling negredo without replacing him will be stupid bussines by txxiki tbh

Agree 100%.....I'll be more disappointed if we now let Negredo go than I am about missing Falcao....Pellegrini has always said we need 2 at every position?....why would we want to weaken an area of strength by letting him go?

I can imagine Yaya playing upfront with Aguero. Might be a good idea to try out.

I thought this deal would only go through if the Falcao deal did

I thought we had people that were going to run our club properly! Not bothered about not going for falcao! However yet again we are letting players go out on loan and looks like Negredo is one of them. There saying we have players at the club to cover this yet all them players played some part against stoke and didn't score. why are we considering letting sinclair go out on loan yet again. sell him and have done with it. We need to keep Negredo as last season proved.

My personal opinion is that if Negredo goes, that's the call a call Pellegrini's made based on Kelechi's performances in pre season. It's one I'd actually be delighted with the more I think about it. That 4th spot should be for a young player with potential and at 17 years old the Nigerian is definitely that. It also gives us breathing space in the CL squad in terms of foreigners.

It's beyond stupid. All we seem to be trying today is weaken the squad. He may not be happy but he is contracted to us and the needs of the club come before his happiness.
