Ian Cheeseman's now saying everything nearly agreed for Negredo to leave. I do think this will happen this evening.

If Aguero and Jovetic get crocked again prepare for a shit storm of epic proportions.

Personally I think it would be an act of criminal insanity to allow Negredo to leave without bringing in a replacement. Jovetic is far from being a conventional striker at the best of times - more of a link man - and both he and Kun are injury prone. We will still be able to sell the Beast for £15 - £20 million next summer. Just not worth the risk selling him now for an extra few bob

If he unsettled then it is right for us to move him on. For this season FFP has our hands tied in terms of bringing in a replacement and it is now down to our current squad to perform as they had done last season.

I'm sick of this argument. He entered into a contract with us to do a job and so he should fulfil it. I doubt Aguero is over the moon to be separated from his kid so much since he split with his Mrs but he still turns up each day and gives 100% and is professional. The needs of the club come before his or his families happiness as cold as that may sound. We only need him for one more season and then he can go with our blessing back to Spain next summer when we can replace him with no FFP restrictions but to go all season with just 3 strikers is asking for trouble.

He's an employee. I'm sick to death of player power and players just saying they are unsettled and pissing off. We need 4 strikers and we can't afford a replacement. He should be professional and do the job he signed up to do instead of sulking cos he/his family misses the sun.
