Yeah your right lets just do things your way and be a charity and forget about winning trophies and focus on all our players being super happy and accommodating their every need even if that means leaving us short up front with 2 already injury prone strikers. Champions league title here we come.

Nope I rather have a player who is fully focused thanks.

So we should get rid of Yaya as well then?

That will be next summer.

We have two out and out strikers in Dzeko and Aguero .. then we have several players who can play as a second strikers.

Kelechi Ihenacho will soon sign a contract as well.

If there's an area we need to strenghten .. it is the central areas where we are a defensive midfielder short.

Agreed. We really only have Fernando and Fernanddinho after Yaya, too light especially if we are considering Playing Yaya in the hole. Either a CM/DM or an AM/LW for me to replace negredo
Milner can play CM/DM too if short.

We could always play vinnie, mdm, or zabba there at a push too!

No problem letting Negredo go,.especially if he is pushing for it. But to let him go and not sign a replacement would be a bad move IMO, particularly with Aguero and Jovetic not the most reliable injury wise.

Ian Cheeseman's now saying everything nearly agreed for Negredo to leave. I do think this will happen this evening.

If Aguero and Jovetic get crocked again prepare for a shit storm of epic proportions.

This.

Personally I think it would be an act of criminal insanity to allow Negredo to leave without bringing in a replacement. Jovetic is far from being a conventional striker at the best of times - more of a link man - and both he and Kun are injury prone. We will still be able to sell the Beast for £15 - £20 million next summer. Just not worth the risk selling him now for an extra few bob

I agree that letting him go without a suitable replacement is a big risk. Without wishing to sound too much like you, you just fucking know that if we only have three strikers, one or two will end up injured very soon.

I did like the look of Iheanacho, who could be a special talent and, if he is, might be good enough to be fourth choice if they get him a work permit but...

Getting Negredo, Nastasic and Richards wages off our books would have covered that.....;)

You can't drop your star players wages then give someone 300k a week!
I think we will rue the missed opportunity to sign one of the best strikers in the world instead of trying to keep an unhappy striker
