Oh it seems its loan... fucking even worse. well I guess Txiki & Ferran know what they are doing. or better be! Iheanacho could be our 4th striker once he turns 18 in Oct and then gets work permit.

The problem is not him leaving, the problem is terms of him leaving, i have no idea whatsoever why we loan him out, with a clause forcing Valencia to buy him next season, it is not like they are in some deep financial hole this season, so why delay the payment?

So they can spread their transfer costs over two windows, it's FFP at work and Valencia trying to get around it.

If there is a £20+ million obligatory clause in the loan deal then I think its a great deal for the club.

It doesn't really matter whether we get a replacement this window as we could always switch to a 4-2-3-1 formation like we played under Mancini. Personally I think that would be our strongest formation which will allow us to accommodate Fern, Nando and Yaya.

If we can end the window with a net spend of below £10 million considering the players we have brought in then it will be a fantastic window. Next summer is when we can really take the shackles off and no team will be able to outbid us for our targets.

Its the same every summer in that genuine world class talent becomes available. This season it was Di Maria and the season before was Ozil. Next season will be no different and when Reus or whoever is after a new challenge, we will be able to go balls deep after them. Where as the likes of Arsenal and United will still be feeling the effects of spending fortunes on the likes of Mata and Ozil and not getting the expected return from them.

Am I right that if we took net spend down to under 10 mm we'd have a runway length of 30 mm + that could be used in January to bolster the squad though? A lot of powder in case of a significant injury in the fall. Frankly that's the most positive spin I can put on AN leaving.

£20 Million great business........can someone tell me why we cant get Villa fit in our squad?

Promised to Melbourne, unveiled as their star (loan) signing, season tickets purchased and god knows what kind of PR work... not sure the club are in a hurry to piss off an entire continent just to fill the role of 4th striker here in Manchester.

Even for a month or so he would get fit and get us through and take pressure off?

We're building a corporate brand. I don't think our executives will invite the fallout of pissing off Australia in order to take a little pressure off of our strikers. It would be a massive fuck-you to our newly purchased club, and would involve insane amounts of money lost in promotions.

Heard that Negredo to Valencia is almost done - now it's a race to get it completed before midnight.

Shite business.

Started the day thinking we're gonna strengthen not weaken!

We've gone from thinking we are buying Falcao to losing a key player and not even replacing him. Only at fucking City.

Very risky business this blues we could be out ov 3 comps come jan and everybody will blame it on this. I also think city fans will show there frustration with there feet can't see many sell outs this season and defo non in the champs lge. Just hope someone within the club comes out and explains the reasons for it!
