I bought a spirit level in tool station, the cheapest one, from a dozy woman who clearly didn't know or care what she was doing. She came back to the counter with a full set of Stabila ones (that i now know was worth over £100), the set came with pencils and a key ring and everything. It was like Christmas.

Lucky bastard. They're certainly not cheap.

I wasn't gonna bother, but my wife who works in a nursery time is having a real sh*t time lately and her managers have been treating her badly.

so i've ordered massive bunch of flowers and some chocolates to her at her school.

Next time you go in ask her for a bubble for the spirit level, I think she'd actually go look for it.

Same as Xmas, don't do cards or presents for eachother as such.

If we need something we'll just buy it, bought a new TV on offer just before Christmas & as our car passed away on Saturday we're picking a new one up purely coincidentally on the 14th.

Normally I'll cook us a nice steak & get a bottle of wine for tea if we have nothing on (oo-er). If either of us are busy then nothing happens, 30 odd years together, soul mates & don't need a bit of card or expensive jewellery to show our love.
