PGMOL have a, not too subtle, method of ensuring they receive very little criticism ... it's a 20 grand fine for any manager/player who dares to do so! I understand why that is, emotions run high immediately after a match and interviews are compulsory but I've always wondered what, if any, avenues of communication are available to clubs privately. Do they get to log on to 'Rate my Ref' and assess his performance or is that kept strictly in-house?Apparently that 99.7 per cent figure is just a made-up figure and has no value at all. PGMOL were challenged on the claim and couldn't back it up with any data. For example the Sterling non-penalty on Saturday would be recorded as a correct decision by the referee. The 99.7 per cent figure is just propaganda. Why is no one prepared to call out PGMOL properly?
