VAR - 2020/21

What pisses me off the most about the VAR decision against the victims yesterday is that now we’re hearing of serious calls to change it. There could be 1000 decisions against the “smaller clubs” but make a bad one that goes against the rags or the dippers and people stand up and pay attention.
Just like how the handball rule changed after it impacted on United.
I hope charges are thrown at Henderson. But they wont be.

Werner’s second goal not ruled out by VAR even though he clearly handled during the build up. Did they even check it?
Only seen it when motd highlighted it how was it not picked up ..
Unlike the very first goal ruled out for handball by VAR, when they forensically examined if Laporte had handled against Spurs before Jesus put the ball in the net.

Yeah, but this means MORE ! ;-)

Sums it up well. Look how many shit var decisions have gone against us. One game goes against those whining scouse bastards and the fucking soft twats are crying to get the rules changed.

Liverpool are like a kid playing football in the garden and just keeping changing the rules to beat his dad and brother.

Scouse cunts need to man-up and deal with it.

I have no love at all for the dippers, but I can’t see how that was offside, I just can’t see which part of the player was offside (part that can score) at all. VAR is being used in completely the wrong way. I think it should only overturn clear and obvious mistakes and offsides where there is a clear, say 5cms (arbitrary value) offside.

If he is offside even by millimetres then he is offside so could not care if it is upsetting scousers and pundit. Van Dick was offside and went to get the ball and sometimes these tackles happen. The offside for me negates VAR needing to look at it any further
Nonsense re: that challenge. Fact is no way to call that offside because even with VAR they can’t tell it’s that close. They can decide when to freeze image, how to draw lines, etc in other words they guess at best or more likely decide what outcome they want and decide accordingly

Last season they said that VAR were not 100% sure when the ball left the foot/head etc to start the pass leading to offside. Has that been sorted for this season ?
Every still picture I see of an offside the ball is blurred and egg shape so impossible to tell when the pass is started. Roll the film on a millie second offside roll it bank a millie second onside. Do VAR now know when the ball starts the pass or is it still a guess ?

Exactly this. The ultimate tool for manipulating the outcome of games.
