Nice that it went our way tonight but that penalty not getting overturned was another prime example of how shite and inconsistent it is
I initially thought that VAR would be more accurate and take out the human error in decisions. If anything it’s worse and human operator error appears to generate a lot of variation between VAR’s.....which leads to some ludicrous decisions.Has anyone here actually changed their mind on VAR?
I liked the idea at first. Now, I think it's never going to work - There's too much subjectivity in decisions, it was better when the ref made judgement on incidents rather than some team of guys hidden away somewhere.
Has anyone gone the other way though, become one of those people who didnt believe in it but now think its an essential part of our game?
