Nice that it went our way tonight but that penalty not getting overturned was another prime example of how shite and inconsistent it is

It was also the delay, a good few minutes which made my mind up to switch it off and stick the PS4 on Instead.

Whether it goes for you or against, VAR has ruined football as a spectacle.
 
Has anyone here actually changed their mind on VAR?

I liked the idea at first. Now, I think it's never going to work - There's too much subjectivity in decisions, it was better when the ref made judgement on incidents rather than some team of guys hidden away somewhere.

Has anyone gone the other way though, become one of those people who didnt believe in it but now think its an essential part of our game?

I initially thought that VAR would be more accurate and take out the human error in decisions. If anything it’s worse and human operator error appears to generate a lot of variation between VAR’s.....which leads to some ludicrous decisions.
