Can you imagine Dipper or rag players being sent off in that situation? Not a chance, Fred head butting on Wednesday (PSG player was a twat as well) was far worse and he got a yellow.
Exactly, more and more are coming round to the fact of what’s going on in the game especially with VAR to assist,it’s slowly but surely eroding away my enjoyment of football ..

The game isn’t meant to be perfect. There has always been the human error element which made it compulsive viewing.
The worst part of VAR is its not only failing to solve the problems we didn't have in the first place, its actually making things worse.
There are more arguments and discussion points from bad decisions today than there was before it came in.
That doesn't tell me it's a system that is working and improving the game.

Wasn't excalty this was it? And Maguire didn't even receive a yellow for this

you say this because you follow a nothing club. you will never get robbed in a CL quarter final , at worst it may be the difference between 10th and 11th for you.

This guy is on a City forum, a team btw who have more justification than most when it comes to distrusting VAR, singing it's praises, spouting the same crap time after time..

We have been fcuked over in more important games that had the result riding on it than anyone..

It's got to the stage when City score, my first thought is, 'VAR's checking the goal, maybe it'll be chalked off.'.!

It's sucked the passion and enjoyment out of one of the most important parts of the game, scoring a goal..!

It is without doubt bent, a tool to keep the tills ringing..

He bangs on about Liverpool being fucked over more than most ..

Have they ?.. Really..?

Let's see if he can tell us which game they've lost where VAR has gone against them that has actually had an impact on their season..?

Champions League knockout game ?
6 pointer in the PL against your nearest rivals?

We've been fcuked over against them in both CL games and in the PL..

We've also been fcuked over against Spurs in the CL and PL..

We got fucked over against Lyon in the CL..

I can't recall them being knocked out of a competition where you could say VAR fcuked them over or where they've lost an important PL game to a main rival due to a poor VAR call..

We certainly have though..!

The dippers also get more than their share of dodgy penalties, I can't be arsed to go into the amount of penalties the rags have been awarded..

Even yesterday the rags benefitted from another subjective call for their first goal..

And on it goes..

Like you say Bill, the wet spam fan is either on a wind up or is unbelievably gullible if he thinks VAR is fair and above board..

It's not better than what we had before it was implemented, it's fkin worse..!

Apparently, according to him, the game was fcuked before VAR was implemented and without doubt is miles better now..!

Laughable..!

100% , as well as not celebrating a goal , we don’t discuss the football any more . All about VAR , tv companies love it because it’s controversy, edge of seat stuff for the so called fans that matter to them , those sat at home all round the world......fetch me some coke & popcorn dad , looks like that goal could be ruled out ...we’re going to var !
That idiot saying nothings changed is either on a wind up or he’s insulting our intelligence.

Football used to be a game, a sport: two teams playing one another with the intention of scoring more goals than the opponents. Now it is nothing more than a play with two parts. It is scripted, rehearsed, and performed for an audience. It has become as wearily predictive as a Hollywood blockbuster: the good guys always win. But in this case substitute 'good guys' for whoever is flavour of the month at the FA. Usually it's the redshirts, but now and again non-cartel members are permitted a fair shot - just so as not to insult the audiences.
But at the end of the day, the triumphant winners holding the trophy aloft in front of a drooling audience, somewhere in Asia, gathered together in front of the TV, not having a clue what's going on but pretending to be swept up in the raw emotions of it all, when the dust has settled on another multi-billion pound football season, the victors will be one of the perennial favourites - rags or dippers.
And just like a film, as the hero rides off into the sunset, having performed such heroic deeds as single-handedly demolishing half of Los Angeles in his pursuit of the bad guys, the credits go up and we all make our way to the exits, careful not to tread on the discarded popcorn and empty plastic cups left lying around.

VAR and/or Pigmol might just as well change their names to Warner Brothers, or Universal, because they are presiding over the biggest movie blockbuster our national sport has ever seen.

Ha ha , it’s like a football ‘Truman Show ‘

The shit show continues. The inconsistent use of this system helped Liverpool last season and continues to create more contraversial decisions this season. Liverpool might not have had the same rub of the green this year but it doesn't matter. It's being used to get Man Utd up the table this season.
