Completely agree, Mike Riley really needs to explain this because it looks corrupt as f#ck
Where are the VAR lines?
Yet again we dont get to see them?

I’m not sure they even considered off side, which I would have thought should be first. Christ it was pretty simple, would have restarted the game 5 minutes sooner and prevented me wasting 5 minutes of my life watching the shite on viewWhere are the VAR lines?

Same hereI sometimes shout "fuck you VAR" when we score one of those goals that VAR cant touch. It's my first thought every time we score
Once again I'm watching a good game and then var pops up to spoil my enjoyment.
For some it's bent, others say it helps certain teams or penalises others. I don't know about conspiracy theories or or perspectives or even the fucking basic rules anymore but I do know var is ruining the game.
If the quest for unequivocal right and wrongs consists of me and everyone else sat at home watching a ref watching a telly after being told to by some other blokes watching a telly to watch it over and over then the game will slowly die.
Riley is busy mate. He is in the process of moving office from Scouseland to the Trafford buccaneers.Completely agree, Mike Riley really needs to explain this because it looks corrupt as f#ck
makes no sense 2bh, they ended up ruling it out and brought him over to overturn it, so if they wanted to cover up they might as well have just given it and not intervened.Clear as day on MOTD tonight. Ref invited to look at the rags penalty claim but NOT shown footage of Maguire being clearly offside. Ridiculous
Klopp actually raised a valid key failing in the VAR offside rule yesterday. He was lashing out at how a decision is made on when to freeze a frame for the offside to be calculated.
This is, and always will be the issue. Offside is therefore a subjective rather than scientific call as some like to pretend.
I would be fucked off if that goal had stood v City.
Klopp is still a CNT though. Never seen him raise this issue the dozens of times it has aided his team.
I think I’m in the minority that actually likes VAR. People have forgotten how many bad decisions were made by our poor officials. There’s plenty of improvements I would make to VAR though. Allowing everyone to hear what the officials are saying, just like in rugby. They’ve got it nailed the rugby officials. It’s much more professional than staring at a football referee looking at a monitor with no clue what is going on.
Var for diving penalties and goal line tech nothing else leave the game then to the officials or what's the point in having them will make celebrating goals come back and ease pressure on refs
So no Var if a player punches another player in the face or stamps on him behind the refs back , Let that go unpunished?
Actually, even with VAR it can be feet. Humans can run at 40km hour. That is roughly 11m a second. Frame rates are 50 sec which means 22cm between frames. Two players moving in opposite directions can make 44cm between frames.its subjective if we are talking millimetres- but we know without VAR , linos flag offside up to a foot or so wrongly.
They could start by using an independent set of people to operate VAR, instead of the useless twats that VAR was brought in to assist. The whole thing is in the hands of PGMOL who operate like a Masonic Lodge.I think I’m in the minority that actually likes VAR. In addition, there are too many variables to calculate a margin of error for each individual offside which is my guess why we have not seen it trialled. I also believe if you introduced a margin of error of upto a meter it would go down like a led balloon and show up VAR for what it is.Actually, even with VAR it can be feet. Bien Sport also said that it can be any one of 3 to 4 frames to pick from to show when the ball was actually kicked. In theory therefore it could be up to nearly a meter difference depending on speed of players and which frame is chosen.
If both sets of decisions are so open to subjectivity and margins of error then I would prefer human error and to get my celebrations back.
I am one of those people. Be a good fellow and add the word sanctimonious to that list.you’re in majority in the real world that favour Var but want it improved.
some on here will make out that you are a WUM c*nt that’s ruined the game for having that view
