The fact Darren England was in the UAE days earlier getting paid to ref a match in the UAE is highly inappropriate. The optics are shocking. Why is the UAE flying in English refs who officiate in the PL, rather than having locals officiate?

As City fans, does this arrangement make you uncomfortable? It was clearly an error. But imagine if that decision was in your favour against Liverpool, days after the refs in question just got back from an all expenses paid trip to the UAE to earn 5k each to ref a domestic UAE match.

Do not plead ignorance. You know deep down this is dodgy and reaks. All it would take is a decision in your favour, and for it to have been the case the referee in question was in the UAE days earlier under the same deal Darren England was on - and thats it, scandal, accusations, and genuine appearance of conflict that would put another microscope on the Man City name.

Calls for Howard Webb to ban PL refs from getting paid outside their capacity as PL refs, and it has to happen.

Christ you love jumping on the Daily Mail hyperbole and then come on here trying to get a reaction out of people don’t you? So you are suggesting the Premier League and it’s subsidiaries such as PGMOL are in bed with Manchester City? This is the Premier League which is trying to hang 115 charges on the club using hacked emails and accusing the club of providing false accounts and has been trying to push this through since 2020.

I guess you were more than happy to sit back and laugh when we got fucked over at Old Trafford with an either incompetent or corrupt piece of reffing that led to Rashford’s goal being allowed. This then handed the initiative to Arsenal to push on in the league.

If you look at the results from this weeks games it hasn’t handed any advantage to any team in Manchester. It’s helped teams in North London get close to the summit, why are you crying about a break that’s helping Arsenal more than it is City?

How about an apology to Pep for Pawson not refereeing the match as it should. He saw the foul on Walker, therefore he should have known it was worthy of a second yellow. That non decision to send the Wolves player off, who scored their winning goal, may have cost us the game.
What about stopping the game when City were attacking for a wolves player going down with cramp, in the pathetic 6 minutes of added on time, even the commentator said that there was going to be a load of time added on although only seems that that applies to Arsenal, they regularly get 10 minutes added on.

If this game is replayed it will be a genuine Pandora's Box event.
They will be challenged in the courts when they refuse to replay others.

Also, as a side issue, a supporter has paid entry and transport for a game that has been deemed as void! How many games do we have to pay to attend before Liverpool get the result they require? (And when in the hell are these extra games played?)
