Spot on. It was a fucking disgraceful decision regardless of who you support. Not just disgraceful but utterly unfathomable that they couldn't arrive at the correct decision.
That’s why I don’t believe the bullshit reasons it happened, whole thing is distinctly fishy.

Were you uncomfortable when Emirates sponsored Arsenal got a disproportionate number of wrong decisions go their way when playing in the Emirates F.A Cup at the Emirates stadium allowing them to win one or two Emirates F.A Cup trophies?
Maybe Darren England's trip to the United Arab EMIRATES was to discuss ways of further pushing Emirates sponsored Arsenal up the table or to make their recent overblown expenditure look reasonable by helping Emirates sponsored Arsenal to win the Emirates F.A. Cup.
Maybe Stuart Atwell will be refereeing an all star match in Rwanda next week. I'm sure the thoughtful and rational AFTV and Dipper thought bank will keep us all up to date.
Fucking loon.
The match he refereed was in Sharjah which is a separate emirate and nothing to do with Abu Dhabi. You might as well stop referees going on holiday in Dubai. So the latest conspiracy theory is that we are owned by the United Arab Emirates Government not the Abu Dhabi state! Stlll never mind: "They all look the same don't they." It is just racism plain and simple. As it happens I do think it is a bad idea for match officials to work in other countries instead of having focus on their main day job. But that's a different debate.

Same as *that* goal at Old Trafford in January. There wasn't much uproar, though.

The thing is, if Liverpool are good enough they'll use defeats to grow as a team, just as we used the losses vs United and Spurs last season to improve and win everything. In the end, one result is fatal if you are not good enough. There are upsides to any setback if you are wise enough to find them.

Bloody they sit in decent seats, jog around the pitch 2 x days later for just 90 mins! when i fly back i expect to exercise 90 mins in following 2 x days - tired ffs!! its mental to suggest this

We will never hear the audio cause that will tell the truth and PGMOL and Webb are clearly talking shite in the excuse they are giving.
Still not heard the audio from the Atwell fiasco at Old Trafford last season when he overruled his own linesman (30 yards away from Rashford and Akanji) and the VAR team. That decison didn't do any harm to Attwell's career though.

They will only allow us to hear the audio where they can put a spin on it to make a positive message.

The fact Darren England was in the UAE days earlier getting paid to ref a match in the UAE is highly inappropriate. The optics are shocking. Why is the UAE flying in English refs who officiate in the PL, rather than having locals officiate?

As City fans, does this arrangement make you uncomfortable? It was clearly an error. But imagine if that decision was in your favour against Liverpool, days after the refs in question just got back from an all expenses paid trip to the UAE to earn 5k each to ref a domestic UAE match.

Do not plead ignorance. You know deep down this is dodgy and reaks. All it would take is a decision in your favour, and for it to have been the case the referee in question was in the UAE days earlier under the same deal Darren England was on - and thats it, scandal, accusations, and genuine appearance of conflict that would put another microscope on the Man City name.

Calls for Howard Webb to ban PL refs from getting paid outside their capacity as PL refs, and it has to happen.
I cannot believe how you could post this in your obvious "ignorance" of what the UAE actually is!!!

Could I suggest you at the very minimum and simplistic research on Wiki to educate yourself! City are owned by people who live in Abu Dhabi, one of the Emirates of the seven in the federation.

Are you going to suggest any official who holidays in Dubai is also tainted? The game England officiated at was Sharjah BTW!

It was several mistakes for one incident
The original offside given by the officials was a mistake, this happens in every game as it’s impossible to see in two places at once, then the VAR have made a mistake, as I heard it they thought the goal was given and just said check complete. A bad mistake, but a mistake, I’m not having it that “sporting integrity” is called into question. If it had happened to City this would be old news now.

So, what are you actually saying The UAE paid Darren England to give decisions against City rivals? You are accusing Darren England of corruption all for 5K
Lets analysis the disallowed goal and the consequences ?

We know that
The on field officials disallowed the goal
VAR and Assistant VAR both allowed the goal
The mistake by VAR was believing that the goal had been allowed and told the ref "check complete"

The on field officials were not in the UAE ruled against Liverpool ( City rival )
The on field officials were not in the UAE ruled in favour of Spurs ( possible City rival as they are one point behind )
The VAR officials were in the UAE and ruled in favour of Liverpool ( City rival )
The VAR officials were in the UAE and ruled in against of Spurs ( possible City rival as they are one point behind )

Back to your supposition As usually your logic is flawed you are clutching at straws letting your vivid imagination to run away = Talking shite

The third mistake was not to tell the ref there had been a collosal fuck up as soon as they saw the match resume

Your team is shit and your posts are shit.
This'll get deleted and I'll probably get a warning but you should be banned for lowering everyones IQ with your shit contribtions to every thread.#

Fuck off.

As much as that would piss me off, it’s surely got to be the most logical and obvious step, like “hang on a sec mate, we were actually okaying the goal, not disallowing it, it’s a perfectly good goal”.

Mad to think that isn’t the obvious step to me.

To be fair, there was a lot of uproar about it in football punditry circles at the time, even from those who are hardly renowned for being pro-City. We, as a club, didn't kick off about it half as much as Liverpool have about what happened on Saturday though.

That's some next level conspiracy shite that has been blatantly lifted from that Indy Kaila Twitter page. And as others have pointed out, there are plenty of links between your own club and that part of the world too. Maybe Liverpool not getting that decision on Saturday was for your benefit rather than ours eh?
