I don't think they come out of it that badly.
What you do see is that the mistake was spotted by the assistant as soon as the game restarted, but it shows how fast they're having to do things, because by the time they've literally exchanged a couple of sentences, the ball has been down one end and up the other and out for a throw.
It's clear that it's a fuck up, and I assume the protocol will change, so that it's no longer an ambiguous "check complete", but frankly you can see how it happened.
so simpleShouldn't even need to ask what the on field decision was
Ref: "Check required"
VAR/AVAR review it
VAR: "Check complete. Decisi
I think you know the answer to that.I wonder if they would have bowed down to any other club and release audio footage? Probably not, as there's no threat of enquiries and victimhood from any other club.
But those are the rules that has been agreed for VAR throughout UEFA.But as you point out the ball has gone out for a throw-in. A natural break in play and absolutely nothing had happened in between the wrong decision being clocked and then. Had another goal gone in or there'd been a major incident I could have almost understood the 'can't do anything now' statement. Just utterly inflexible with nobody willing to take a lead. More interested in protecting the process than getting the right decision. Although having said that, still hilarious it's happened to that lot!

What do dippers do best.So is this fair fucks to Liverpool for opening Pandoras Box? For challenging shit decisions?
Or is it Liverpool moaning because they think they are unfairly treated? I can’t make my mind up.
answered own questionWhy could they not call it back ? Game was restarted ??
United v Brighton sept 2020. ref blew whistle for full time. Var called it back for a penalty ??
I think this is Liverpool doing what they do best, playing the victim card, knowing that for the rest of the season every 50/50 tackle will go their way and they'll be given way more leeway than anyone else when it comes to penalties, fouls and cards. So is this fair fucks to Liverpool for opening Pandoras Box? It reminds me of an air crash investigation episode when something goes wrong and pilots are talking but struggling to understand what’s going on.Why does there need to be like 4 people with audio and speaking, I couldn't tell who the fuck was saying what in that video...
