a weak penalty claim for you is a 100% nailed on penalty for someone else especially as football fans tend to be so tribal and see everything through their own teams specs on. I like the idea but i don't think it would calm the angry outraged mob down.
There are pens that everyone agrees on. Quite a lot. There are pens that are inbetween where no one can agree. Even the refs. Indirect Free Kick.

Tribalism is a different thing imo. But the key to it is that the ref has made a decision and we all abide by it,. Otherwise they will bring in a whole video review system that slows the game down, makes us all confused, STILL gets it wrong and regresses the game :)

That happens quite often, whether it's protocol not.

I'm in favour of VAR but just not with these clowns in charge of it. I'm not a referee but I'm certain I could right a better set of protocols and guidance and ensure they are followed correctly compared to how the FA, PMGOl and Webb are performing. Currently its an utter shambles and surrounded in unnecessary secrecy.
Not so sure mate…. It should be WRITE!!

It is kinda cute that some people think there is no corruption and manipulation in the prem when there are plenty of examples of businesses in every sector of corruption , money does that to people and there are examples in football as well. It is in the prems interest to have tight races for the title and why did the rags and dippers get to personally vet and ask for masters ? It stinks

Pep knows , he repeatly says over the years that we get no help, the team have won everything we have on our own , cant wait to hear what he has to say about it when he leaves

There is legitimate reason to have a TV feed into Stockley Park. What goes on behind closed doors in the locked VAR cabin during the match is anyone's guess, but only a tiny handful of people know for certain.

Let’s assume that Sky TV are instructing officials who they want to win certain matches. And every referee/ Linesman/ 4th Official/ VAR/ AVAR and computer guy in the VAR room, past and present, are all happy to go along with it and never speak a word.

Wouldn’t it be a lot easier and lot more secure for a simple message to go out before a game informing them of who’s to win the game, than for them to all sit there taking secret instructions over which way to rule over specific incidents from Gary Neville ?

Well yes, but we said they were corrupt, we never said they were smart :)

I'm hoping the truth will come out on what has gone on behind the scenes on the 115, who was involved and that someday we will be able to divulge the evidence good or bad .

I never said Neville issues the instructions. I'm saying the TV companies hold sway over the decisions.

And also alot easier to manipulate results without VAR , any tussle in the box and the ref can point to the spot for a pen. No VAR needed. No questions asked.
Player offside, lino just keeps his flag down. No VAR needed. No questions asked.
