VAR impact and consequence log - game 27

Surprised they didn't find Angelino's toe was offside when he crossed for the winning goal.

I seriously thought it was offside from single replay I've seen. Never expected it to stay until game was restarted.

VAR is a technological mechanism which is operated in the PL by a collection of self-serving arrogant individuals , who are so smug, arrogant and I suspect corrupt in their application / interpretation of the laws of football they are destroying the enjoyment and credibility of our football.

Lee Mason yesterday game a thoroughly disgraceful display of bias towards Southampton , and never made any attempt to disguise the fact.

He should be sacked from the role but his equally corrupt/inept bosses and colleagues will explain away such thoughts and excuse his performance under any amount of scrutiny as City supporters being paranoid .

A fucking disgrace who has produced similar performances before when officiating our games.

I was seething during , after and still am after witnessing that yesterday.

Tell you what, no matter what decisions VAR gets wrong or how bizarre some of the things are they look at, the very worst thing about football is all the time wasting though taking ages to take goal kicks and throw-ins, and pretending to be injured to waste time.

I fucking despise that side of the game!

Anyone who says VAR will ruin football, it’s already happened with this shit.

I honestly think it was offside. It looked it on the replay. Unless they paused it on the wrong frame or something and the VAR check did it correctly. I’m not sure, but he did look marginally offside. I didn’t celebrate until they had kicked off.
