there should be a time limit for review. If its so close its hard to call, give the benefit of the doubt to the attacking side.

Agreed. The offside checks today were a bit much, you could tell at first glance that even if they were off it would have been by mm. They should be able to get those checks finished between the ball hitting the net and getting back to the centre circle.
It feels like every goal is getting forensic level examination instead of a check for clear and obvious faults, followed by forensic exam of needed.

They need to start showing it on the screen and micing the refs up to keep the crowd informed.

Fucking farce tonight. If you cant tell a goal is offside in under 30 seconds then surely it should stand. It wasn't difficult to spot the chap in the far side was playing Sterling on.
It rather ruined the goal of the season for the Pass by Sane and the finish by Sterling.

We need to know at the ground whynthey are checking VAR, the ref should be telling us he’s looking at offside or whatever, I mean why were they looking at Agueros,second? Also does the clock stop for VAR because it doesn’t seem to, today we had at least 2 VAR stoppages, 6 subs and 4 goals in the second half, we got 1 minute of extra time which wasn’t even played.

That's what a ref is expected to do at 7-0 since I watch football.

They are trying to make the game perfect it will never work for football its an instant emotion game. Take Offside as an example there to stop “goal hanging” now with VAR a player can be offside by 2mm surely a player can’t be goal hanging by 2mm?

Tonight was an absolute farce seeming that every goal was checked, fans started wondering if the each goal counted Image having to stand there after 93:20 goal wondering if we had won the league I’d rather refs made mistakes.

Never wanted it and it’s working exactly as I expected
