I would prefer a situation where each manager was allowed 2 or 3 appeals during a game where they feel a decision has gone against them.

I thought that lat night raised an interesting question that i had not considered before.
Given the Shalke had players in an offside position when the free kick was taken the how do the officials know what takes priority.
I don't believe the pen should have been given against Feny but lets assume it was a stone waller.
On Review is the pen given even though the move was offside or is the offside given even with a stone wall pen ?

On another note how can the Rags rip the shirt off a player and under review it gets discounted but Ferny's is given?

Quite happy to quote the laws of the game for the second penalty but strangely not the same approach for the first incident or no pics of Otamendi moving his arm away from the ball. They are not going to allow us to win it

Question. How does a VAR official orally advise the on pitch referee how to make a subjective handball call,
that any number of ex top referees have failed to agree on, without telling him what decision to make..........

Answer. He tells the ref it's a Manchester City defender and we are 1 nil up already
