Ask him, he accepts questions as part of his columnI agree that Samuel is a good journalist. But I still haven’t heard any reason why playing the best teams early is a disadvantage.

A rhetorical question if ever I read one!.. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
The way VAR has been implemented in the PL is an absolute joke. It goes against most of the football world and how they have done it. It goes against how other sports have introduced it with great results leaving fans with fantastic explanations of decisions and literally zero arguments afterwards and they show literally zero sign of changing their ways.
Ask yourself this. Why?

Another joke Var game.
Clearly the decision maker "commander" wanted to help Liverpool rather than reward Everton. That, like so many decisions, is purely within the bias or preference of the decision maker. Essentially it is match fixing.Another favourable decision for the team in Red
VAR spots the offside at Goodison but what sort of job did it do for the tackle by Dipper 4 across the shin of the Everton guy? Bloody red card for any other team bar Rags 'n Dippers!
Bullshit, over the ball, studs, foot sideways in the shin and then down on to the foot. Funny how all the ex-pros think it’s a pen.It really wasn’t mate. Yellow all day.
