I fully support VAR - but that would be VAR MkII, not the God-forsaken, opaque, risible system we have now. And apologies for suggesting the current model is a 'system'!Until VAR doesn't stop me instantaneously celebrating goals (I haven't in 4 years of VAR - even our 3rd v Villa) I will detest it for robbing me of the joy of football. Those who support VAR are therefore joyless IMHO. The last few pages have proved my point in bucket loads.
I can't think of a single issue within and without football where I would regard HMP Walton as an expert. I think BT employ him 'cos they know he will feed their slanted narrative.I don’t think it’s down to corruption I genuinely think they are fooking useless

These are probably games that may not have any bearing on the title but all 3 had horrendous decisions ...........the whole VAR thing was brought in to make the refs life easier but in my opinion it’s making it even worse :( least Oliver had the balls to stick with his decision yesterday ........... and then you have Peter Walton the expert on BT now if these officials at VAR are like him then no wonder the games fooked :( honestly I would scrap it till you have folk in charge who can get these decisions right

I would too.I would vote to scrap VAR
why? because every bad decision is going to met with outrage and cries of corruption
so lets go back to football without VAR and lets really see if this makes everyone happier, if there is no more controversy every weekend and no debate about the officials decisions.
