Re-read it. There are estimated to be 1.5 billion cows in the world. That's due mostly to Human intervention, breeding and cultivation. It would never have reached the numbers it has.

Bred to feed. Stood up being milked all day, dragged about, exploited, kept enclosed, artificially inseminated, milk not for their calves but for us, throats slit, chopped up la la la etc. Sounds like a riot.
