Just thought for the sake of balance we should highlight some of capitalism's successes this week
Firstly it is very reassuring to see that in a country where some 30 % can't afford health care the market deems it necessary to set up a golf match between two already hugely wealthy golfers Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson. The prize 9 million dollars Warms the cockles of my heart.
In the UK privately run prisons set the standard. I imagine the US will want to know how we did it. And in Italy a bridge maintained privately collapses.
Meanwhile in India polluted rivers and un regulated building projects make a natural disaster worse causing the deaths of thousands.
Politically a day doesn't pass without elected officials being caught embezzling funds. Australia just being the latest example.
Yes it's all going swimmingly.
