I would rather have this guy than Barkley to be honest. If Yaya were to leave and we could flog Garcia, Rodwell, Milner, Richards, Sinclair to get him I would not at all be upset.

Yaya - 30m
Sinclair 2m
Rodwell 8m
Milner 12m
Richards 5m
Garcia - 10m

That gives us 67m plus and I think I am being conservative with my figures.

Edited

Who the fuck would spend 8 million on Rodwell?

Apparently half the league want him mate and we're looking more towards 10m. If he stays fit he'd be a very good player for most teams IMO I'd loan him out for a year see how he gets on.

Mental. He's a fucking crock who is probably on relatively high wages and has effectively missed out on about three years of development at a crucial tyime in his career. I'm surprised anyone would be interested in more than a loan deal.

IMO, Milner has only really played wide right or wide left, Rodwell hasn't played at all in midfield, Garcia is limited to what type of player he can play against, Sinclair has been out on loan all season and Richards is a right back, so if we were to do the above deal the only effective midfield player we are really losing is Yaya and replacing him with Vidal. And to have the option of picking two out of Fernando, Vidal and Fernandhino would not cause too many problems.

PS it brings our foreign contingent down to 17, because at the moment we have 18 so someone foreign has to be sold in any event.

Yeah but if any got injured we would be seriously screwed as much as milner garcia and rodwell don't play there still very good squad players to have there is no way we can go into next season with 3 center midfield options. I agree we need to lose a foriegn player and for me its negredo or garcia and to be replaced with a youngster home grown ie huws/gudetti/pozo/cole

This is going to go the same way as Sanchez. Many posters saying "if we sell x, y and z for this much, then we can get Vidal"... but in reality we are not interested and will have to just sit and watch whilst he joins a rival (rags). Same as Sanchez.

So we are losing Milner and Garcia and not replacing them?

Marca: "Vidal has his bags ready for Manchester [United]"

They say the deal includes Evra though, which gives me a little hope its bollox, as the Evra deal is 100% separate and is the result of him wanting to move.

I think talk of City being interested, is just agents talk to push his price up!! I think he's a great player and hope he doesn't go to the reds but its looking like his deal to United is close.......City done shopping for this window after Mangala.....we might sell/loan out a player but I'd be surprised to see any more signings....Yaya's agent said he will be at city for pre-season tour to US....unless massive bid from PSG or RM...then it would be up to City.....so I think he will be staying!

No way Real goes for Yaya. They are already having to sell DiMaria to keep Isco happy. IMO they would keep DiMaria over Yaya. PSG have also already used up their transfer budget unless they sell Cavani. I just don't see him going. Not a chance we let Milner go due to homegrown rule. An important player that can play out wide on both sides as well as in CM.

I agree mate......Maybe we allow Yaya to leave in 2015 but I think he stays this season..I really think all our shopping done...and its great to know we got our targets!!!....Looks like Vidal could be going to United...

Manchester United will offer Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal a staggering £230,000-a-week contract. (Source: Metro)

I still cant see juve selling him! They are building a great squad there and I reckon itll easily take a £60m plus bid to get him. Plus di marzio has said there has been NO contact!
