Vieira could be next City boss

I would think he would work alongside the next manager (whether that's Pep or whoever) and then take over from him.

Probably too early to take over next and I'm sure he understands that himself.

This 'story' has only come out because we're crappy atm. It's always the same.

each game, vieira makes a different player make a pre match speech in the dressing room, be it from goalkeeper to striker, he makes a different player stand up and do the rallying call, just leaves the players alone for few minutes to form the bond he believes is vital to the team, he has the upmost respect off all the players and staff, if he doesnt get the job at city, he,ll be off to arsenal sooner rather than later, as wengers no 2, then new manager, in my worthless opinion of course

They've been doing that at Chelsea for a while even the first team do it

As much as I don't want to be part of any lynch mob for Manuel I'm very excited about the prospect of Patrick Vieira as our manager.

That's one of those Daily Mail specials. Presumption built upon presumption built upon presumption.

City have spent an awful lot of time and money on grooming Vieira for a top role in our organisation since 2010. We're not stupid enough to do this and allow him to walk out the door.

The journo is one of numerous others who wants Vieira back at Arsenal because it fits with some Disney fairytale land that they live in.

It's obvious that Txixi and Ferrano would like Pep to be the next manager

However, if he doesn't give the green light then I would go for Vieira with Wilcox has his assistant

Even if Pep said yes, I would have Vieira and Wilcox on his coaching staff

I certainly hope the board do not appoint Vierra as manager without any proper managerial experience.

Look at how many world class players from the rags tried their hand unsuccessfully at PL management.

Just because we briefly had a world class player, who has joined the back room staff does not guarantee he will be able to be successful in management.

Pep Guardiola's experience before taking over Barca was running their reserve team in the 4th tier of Spanish football

Who should we go for then? Should it be Alex Fergusson seeing as he's one of the few available and proved he can guarantee success?

Garry Monk is doing pretty well at Swansea for a 35 year old, should he be told to do one?
