just one of those freak results today, offside goal, free kick, we played well just very very annoying esp with them getting beat, but i still think we will win the title this year,
shame we aren't going into Munich game on a high also

Nonsense.
1 point from 9 from Cardiff, Stoke and Villa. No chance in hell.

Mourinho said a very interesting thing recently about how the premier league has changed since he was last there. Previously there was two very strong teams and now there are 5 or 6 strong teams. The inference being that less points are now needed to win the league, I am fairly sure that this title will be won or lost by the results between these 6 strong teams - and we are not doing bad on that front at the moment. Arsenal have also lost to Villa and they are handily positioned after only a handful of games. 1 point from those 3 games is annoying but title-deciding? No way.
Yeah it's looking like the title will be won by a record low number of points i reckon.

Even though it is still early, dropped points for Arsenal will make me feel better

when you take our away results into consideration this season, this wasnt a freak result. posters on here saying it was are jut deluding themselves.

1 point out of 9 is worse than shocking, its abysmal!! comforting ourselves that other teams dropped points is also delusional. this is the premier league, when others fuck up you HAVE to take advantage of it, and due to insane defending and a lack of cohesion up front when things started going slightly skewy in the second half, we didnt take advantage of it. we will go to so many other harder places than villa park throughout the season that this will, i'm sure, become a defeat we will regret.

pelle has got to get an away win in the next game or it will become very uncomfortable for him.

Joe hart has lived his football life unchallenged over the last few years for club and country, it's probably human nature to become complacent under such circumstances, I've been saying it for ages he needs to feel threatened to get the best out of him, even Shay Given moved on because it was so obvious Hart would be picked week on week, JH needs to be sat down for a few weeks and January priority must be to get a top draw keeper in, in there anytime give Panties a chance, he can't be any worse, in fact I rate him and given a run of games who knows.

imo joe hart wasnt at fault for any of the goals. Id blame nastasic and kompany for shit defending.

Hard to argue ......

the central defence were at fault for all three goals ..... with the third being a ridiculous goal to concede.

And yet , apart from their goals, we always appeared 'comfortable'.

I am actually laughing reading some of these comments.

We were robbed today! It was a one off. A fluke. A one-in-a-million.

Mancini? He is gone. Past. History. The players didn't want him. The management didn't want him. No other too team in Europe has approached him. He is an abbrasive individual with an ego bigger than most players.

Please, for the sake of the reputation of City fans, stop idolising him like he is some sort of messiah. Honestly, it is sadder than the bin dippers adulation of Benitez.

Pellegrini is a better manager but he needs time. Like Mancini had. He has had 6 league games. 6. What did Mancini do in his first half season? Pack the midfield and play some really dire negative football.

Pellegrini won't be fucking off, but you may as well if you are a Mancini fan rather than a Man City fan.
I dont think people are dreaming of RM but it is a fair point we conceded 3 and lost at CARDIFF, we have conceded 3 and lost at a poor VILLA. You might be able to tell me how many times RM's Man City did this. And for the record lets not forget that despite this whole players didnt like him bollocks, he did win us the title. He deserves the plaudits for that. Right now in a year the title is begging to be won our new manager (who I am fully behind) has dropped 8 from 9 eminently winnable away points. It is right and proper that we should not be happy about this.

Im happy for the players tonight at least mr.pellegrini wont shout at them and they can all go out later on tonight feeling all cosy and nice and well treated.

No id rather get yelled at than someone looking at me straight in the eye and telling me in a quiet voice they are disappointed in me.

Yelling is only effective for certain amount of time before people tune it out.

The poor delicatesouls bless them.

And you are right some players are more sensitive than others.
It all depends on the player.

o be fair, even if Hart's position had been better ( more central) i'm not sure he's have go it.
Sometimes we need to give other players a bit of credit. He struck and placed it well.

The other 2 goals well ffs 1 offside and 2 lets just say sunday league defenders would have cleared it.
