Did you here Frank Lampards shout when Aguero scored? He must now realise he is now part of the team. Great!

Was at work today but I always enjoy looking at the match thread to see what most of the fucking idiots on there are saying... If we are not 4/0 up at half time those silly cunts are panicking and whinging about how shit the team and players are and even how the manager hasn't got a clue Ffs it's embarrassing get a grip and have faith in your team

Fantastic performance. We controlled the game from start to finish, despite it taking over 80 minutes to get the break through. Silva was immense, Fernandinho was like a blue arsed fly again, buzzing around everywhere until he got injured. Fernando changed the game for us again after Villa was starting to get a stronghold in the middle.. Yaya and Sergio's goals were top drawer.

All the praise for Mourinho and Chelsea suits us down to the ground again. Write us off at your peril. No one give us a chance last year and we are getting slaughtered already this year. We have had a tough start and are in a very healthy position, it was a shame we had the freak result against Stoke. We have won 2 titles in 3 years and still have the spine of the team in place with quality additions, I think we are better and more balanced team than our title winning season's and are not going to give up a crown lightly. Yes Chelsea have spent well and Mourinho has the know how of winning the Premiership but it's still early doors and I'm pretty sure they will drop a few points here and there in the next month or so. Apart from Spuds (We should murder them anyway) and United (Derby games can produce shock results ) we have a generous run of fixtures leading up to the new year, I personally think we will be Top come the New Year.

Lambert as usual mentioned the 2 goal scorers cost more than his entire team but didnt hear him mention money spent after playing arsenal, liverpool or chelsea recently

Well done for understanding that much. Subtitles? Did he explain why he kept Darren Bent (24 million pound signing) on the bench?

Thought Lambert was ok in the past but I suppose hes had to get with the programme.

City players have welcomed him well, also. They don't have the bitter side of allegiance, we have.
They know him for what he is and always has been. A top grade professional footballer who has
an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING goal scoring record.

No negatives for me today, its been a test of patience and we have come through it with flying colours.

The game (for me) changed when Fernando came on, not sure Villa had a kick after we solidified the midfield, so happy to see the lad back. Big man has prodded and probed all day, delighted to see him get a goal and hopefully that will kick start his and subsequently our season.

Very well fucking played lads.
I totally agree. We played well today as a team. 69% possession. Yes I was getting worried on 80 minutes but then Yaya had a shot - as he was told to by Cheesy on Radio Manc. We were playing away but we controlled the game.
After Fernandihno went off - for about 5-10 minutes we were not in control of the game. Villa had one or two breakaways. Fernando came on and took control of the midfield. Villa did not get near Hart after that.
Sergio should have scored when he hit the post - and was disgusted with himself. So much relief when he did score. Cracking shot. I will say again - For what he has done for us - Yaya is a legend.!

We fight to the end.

I thought we played very well for most of the game against a very decent Villa side that in truth rarely threatened our goal.

David Silva was fantastic but lets not forget that for the most part it was Yaya who has had terrible stick on here all week who was feeding the ball into him. The two forwards worked incredibly hard and Kolorov was a menace down that left hand side.

If I have to find fault it would be that we were quite wasteful when we got into really good areas. Milner needs to start hitting the ball low and hard into the box as opposed to chipping it in to the oppositon keeper and with Nasri not about we also seem to be well out numbered when we get into dangerous positions. Zabaleta was a bit quiet today.

Loads of posters have a thing about our corners. I think we score loads of goals from corners my "bugbear" is that we don't shoot from outside the box enough. It was nice to see both our goals come from around the 18 yard line.

Well played City.
