You can only feel sympathy at watching him walking off injured again. So unlucky but the evidence only points to the fact his body is not up to the demands required at this level. Going to take a miracle for him to get back to where he was.

Needs a Summers rest and expert medical help!
Sentiment apart, a fit captain still one of the best!
He had the entire summer off last year and this has been his most injury prone season ever.

The clubs needs are more important than sentiment towards vinny.

He's far from finished and our best CB option bar his injury. Also a player who drives the team we have seen time and time again how he pushes the team to punch beyond its weight. The problem tonight was that he came off the game dejected and gutted. I know he's in pain and all and is angry with the injury, but he should have rallied the team to press on. When he came off everyone went headless, maybe Yaya doesn't command that big a motivational presence as Kompany who knows. But it was obvious the moment Kompany was subbed our game deflated. Before that we looked lively and had fight.

I'm sorry to say we may have just seen VK in his last City appearance. Gutted. But it's the truth. What manager would touch him with a barge pole now. A number of times this season he's not even made it to 10 minutes. Shame some of the others don't show half the passion he did. Forever a legend.

His captaincy is unquestionable. His injuries mystifying. However, you are not qualified to attack any of our players, never mind Vinnie. Why would you want to attack him if you are a City fan. Do you have no loyalty to players who have given their all for the best period in our history. You sound like a spoilt kid

For what reason? He's given us his best years, been loyal and played his heart out for the past 8 seasons leading us to winning the Premier League after a 44 year wait.
