Those also spouting off about people who claim he could be done can jog on as well.

The man has had countless injuries over the last 2 years and is clearly made of fucking tracing paper. He is now in the last chance saloon and don't let anybody tell you different.

It's not jumping the gun in any way shape or form. If anything it's the total opposite.

Peps medical team thought they had the answers but he's broke down yet again.

I'm devastated for the man but he knows as well as anyone with an ounce of common sense that he is now in a full on fight to save his career

Ive no problem with him playing all game. It's not like he has been rushed back. He will have played countless matches in training and the doctors have said he is ready. It's not a game where the CB's are doing too much work so it was the ideal one for him.

Unfortunately I think Vinny's days as a footballer may be coming to an end as this is just happening too often.

I'm sure both Komps and Pep would have discussed a game plan for minutes on the pitch should we be comfy last night but I'm straggling with him not coming on against Bournemouth, I assume being on the bench he wasn't fit enough to play the time left when Otamendi went off .....but a few days later deemed fit enough for a full game.

Obviously I have no inside knowledge but I'd have thought bench last night and on for 20 mins which I guess was the original plan for Bournemouth. There's no need to rush/push him too hard.

Walking off was the correct decision.

We had no subs left. No point in going to ground. If it is a hamstring he could well have torn it by carrying on. He stays on that football pitch it could have been a whole lot worse.

Those calling him out need to give there fucking heads a wobble.

Walking off was probably a sensible decision. But shouldn't he have told the manager and the other defenders first?

he can't be a law unto himself, yes he would be pissed off, but that last attack after he'd done one was like the alamo

hope its just a niggle(said this before though)

Looked like the troublesome right calf to me, as he stretched to try and prevent their goal.

A huge shame as he was looking awesome, particularly with his passing in the second half. I guess this could be it for him as he just doesn't seem able to avoid it.

Hopefully we'll get a (positive) update today. Until then it's just speculation.
