He will be fine. Played well I hear last night and it's not a huge injury.

In spite, or perhaps to some extent because of the trappings that go hand in hand with being a leading footballer, to lose that prematurely must be an utter personal tragedy; along the lines of a minor industrial injury which prevents someone doing a job they truly love. All the money in the world can't fully compensate for a loss along those lines.

On that basis, it is utterly reprehensible for people who purport to be City fans to talk, as they are on this thread, in such brutal, callous and unkind terms about our captain, like he's a lame horse that needs to be led away and shot.

Perhaps it makes some people feel better about themselves, but it is both unnecessary and uncalled for. Have some fucking respect for our captain.

Absolutely spot on!

Especially the highlighted section. Says something about the people themselves more than Vinnie the way some people on this thread are talking. Trolls! and bitterness about their own sad and pathetic existence.

He'll be out for a month at least. Probably more, to be honest. He did play very well last night which of course makes it especially frustrating. Unfortunately though, in the last two years.. there have been many games where that wasn't the case and unfortunately that will be the case fairly often in the future. The injuries have taken their toll generally speaking and even when he's able to play, he'll never be the player he once was due to them.

I like you!

he played as well as ever (and far better than stones did) last night so im not sure how you work that out

his distribution was outstanding and the defense was organised better than ever...his ability in the air was there for all to see as was his pace (unlike ottomendi who got done a few times last weekend)

VK uses his brain to play football so even with a loss of a bit of pac (normal as you start to get on) his reading of the game will get him an extra couple of years at the top

Listen vinnie has got all season. Pep hasn't flirted him off he's still here and still in blue. It's common knowledge that you get twinges and slight pulls after being out so long. Let's be positive here, it's not a torn thigh or torn groin muscle it's just a pull or a strain. A few weeks out after being out for four months will be nothing to vinnie. He's a fighter, he's a warrior and he'll be back stronger than ever. Take your time skipper we're right behind you.

Do you also believe that those who felt it was a good idea to replace Joe with Bravo weren't City fans?
The two aren't remotely related. There was never going to be a place for Hart. Pep would love Vinnie in his starting 11.

I guess we're gonna have to get used to these types of posters who have no affinity to City yet post like they do.
