Yeah well, it sounds like "youse guyses" to me.
Yeah, it's more of an American English word than a British one, it's a past participle of get so 'got' would be the commonly used one in the UK. Then you have the confusion between "She's got sick" (she's vomited) and "She's got sick" (she's in possession of some vomit and keeps it in a jar) so it's useful to differentiate between action and possession.

Well, at least you made me laugh. Maybe I won't beat the wife and cat tonight after all.

Best thing about tonight was Vinny playing. Watch pep go and drop him on saturday.
Great to see him get through 90 mins and look superb at the same time.

His body will have felt it though,so i wouldnt be surprised to see him 'rested' Saturday.

The first goal was nothing on him. He was in the position he should be in coveringen the first post in line with the rest of his defence. Fernandinho should have been much closer to Hazard.
Ok fair enough, I thought he'd dropped a little deep and could have stepped out a yard or two so Hazard had less space. Agree on fernandinho tho - what's happened to him?

In that particular scenario Sané didn't track back and he went out to support Clichy who was about to get done two on one by Azpilicueta and Pedro, unfortunately he'd tracked Hazard over and that left him free. Overall he hasn't been impressive though.

Brilliant to see Vinny back tonight. It was about the only positive to come out of the game.
Considering the length of time he was out and the opponents he was excellent.
He did everything that Otemendi wouldn't have done like moved the ball well at the back, intercepted well, showed leadership, was brave and even offered a threat in their box.
Hope he is around for Wembley.
I have to think that maybe he has been held back for too long and could have been an important difference, especially at Monaco.

Yep. Amazes me that after his injury record he's come out with that post. Perhaps the reason Kompany didn't immediately break down was because he was "held back for too long"!
Indeed, buts lets just use it as another stick to beat the manager......

Hopefully the caution shown will keep the skipper on the pitch for the rest of this season and hopefully into next.

Great to see Vinny back on the pitch.

He looked confident and assured, read the play well, his distribution was good, on the whole, managing to pass the ball through the lines a few times. As expected, due to lack of game time, he was a bit slow off the mark a couple of times but that was it. He handled some situations with ease where Otamendi would often make a mistake.

Kompany lacking in match fitness is still a far better defender than anyone else at the club.

Nothing would give me a greater buzz this season than to see him score the winning goal in the FA Cup final.

Spot on and what a sight it was to see super Vincent back to his best.Hopefully he has now turned the corner ... fingers crossed.

Really great to see him back even if the cynic in me wonders if it's just to make sure he's in the shop window for the last couple of months of the season.

If he plays enough to be properly in the shop window than he's probably fit enough for us to keep him.

If they can get him fit enough to play 20 games a season I think we have to keep him on. Too many experienced players are already leaving this summer and he'd be a convenient 3rd/4th CB if we buy well in the summer.
