I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s been offered big media £££.... he’s talked about in such high regard from his fellow professionals that it may be a natural fit, the intellect is self explanatory... I hope personally he stays in the club in some capacity though, he could potentially be more than just a manager/coach, long term chairman in my opinion!

I've heard he's got a one-year extension on the table from us, a two-year contract in the States and a potential two-year contract at Barcelona that he's leaning towards. Wants to challenge himself playing in Spain. Also considering America as a serious option, knows he could play there for another 5 years. Also knows that he has a role here whenever he wants it, club happy for him to do what he wants but Pep desperately wants him to stay. If he goes to Barca we'll sign de Ligt whatever the cost, hence no left back.

Also heard that Dave might call it a day and go to Japan, hence Fernandes and Felix...

Hope it's all bollocks and he signs a new deal with us but what a way to go out!

Love Vinny and Dave to death. I know it seldom sounds like it coz I'm a realist and a bit of an ageist. If you come from an American football culture you'd understand why. But if getting De Ligt and Felix for Silva and Komp/Ota' leaving is the plan, then sadly I can't be against that. Erect 2 Statues and celebrate. But De Ligt and Felix will be the right answers :(

I can see why he would want to leave and try a different league while he still can. Pep must have shown him that a broad footballing education is key to becoming a top manager. But Barcelona??

I very much doubt he's leaving even if he retires. Even if he changes club it'll just be a detour on his way back to City.
