Vincent Kompany | Bayern Munich Manager

Isn’t that similar to Gundo? He’s been known to coaching the academy lads and captained City. Pep obviously had a season with Barca B, but I think some ex players are destined to be good managers and I think Gundo will be one.

I wonder if the club have any plans to use Gundo even more as his playing days look to be reducing , assuming the injury situation improves of course .

I hope so, but Pep was Barca through and through and I think it was molded for him to have that job. Maybe a bit to romanticise from me there.

Listen, I hope Gundo smashes it. I certainly think he has kids in his footballing brain than Kompany

Whoever succeeds Pep has got a hard job. I hope our fans are realistic and give the new guy some slack. It is not as though we have been short of trophies recently.
I have full confidence in Andy Morrison securing us promotion back to the football league.

Yep I mean that one. Relegated with a £65m debt that had to shift its best players (e.g. Pope, McNeil, Mee, Collins, Tarkowksi), he used his contacts in Belgium to bring in largely unknowns, contacts at City and loan deals. It's quite universally accepted that the job he did in that season was pretty remarkable.
Remarkable? He done a great job getting promoted of course, then couldn't cut it in the big league. There isn't a single positive in getting relegated in the manner they did. Edwards at Luton achieved remarkable things getting Luton promoted with the size of that club and then put up more of a fight than Burnley to stay in the league. If it wasn't Kompany nobody would be larging a promotion up from the championship followed by an embarrassing relegation.

His burnley got promoted with 100 points and smashed records playing how he wanted , not managing to stay up doesnt take away from that

Yawn.

Haha of course it does, as it was the whole point of the promotion campaign, to go up and stay up. They didn't say not to worry that we didn't compete in the slightest in the premier league, we had a good season the season before. His promotion campaign was great, their premier league campaign was laughable. What are these records you speak of? A quick glance tells me the obvious ones they dont hold?

If people quote me I will reply. Boring is having a low footballing IQ based on blind loyalty to former players. Idiots
I get what you’re saying about Vinny and you’re right, but Bayern have employed him on his potential and have taken the advice of Pep. That’s it, forget Burnley, forget he was our great captain for many years, it’s his potential.
