I heard a while back that he had been caught having an affair. Didn't hear about who with. Maybe fernandinho's wife hence the 'fight?'

Kompany would of been suspended if that happened and the fight would of got even messier.

I don't actually believe it - hence why I've never mentioned it until someone else mentioned about a rumour of an affair.

Does anyone remember reading an article about us the other day (I cannot remember what it was about) and it contained some kind of casual reference to Kompany not being so popular with some team mates? Of course, I read the story about the so-called spat with Ferna but the excerpt from the text did not appear to be referring to that.

Sorry, his form has dropped and he does not use Twitter so rumours of him 'playing away' are understandable.

I believe you read my post but did not comprehend the contents. I didn't say anything was wrong and neither did I indicate the rumours are true. I simply said it is not surprising rumours (whatever they may be) are likely to surface, especially when his form has nose dived. As for the rumour in the article, I qas asking if anybody had read it.

Think it's probably best for Vinny to have a break, rest then try and find out a solution to why he's getting so many muscle injuries. Hopefully we haven't seen the last of him in a blue shirt.

Vinny has been and is a warrior captain for us. We have rushed him back after every single injury which is eventually going to take its toll on his body. Unlike Joe Hart, who was taken out of the spotlight when his form dipped, we have carried on playing VK and teams have exploited his dip in form coupled with our poor formation choices. Give the lad a rest, let his body repair and recharge for next season and then we go again.
