Agreed. Jamie Carragher was simply in awe of his performance today and said it was one of the best centre half performances he's ever seen.
 
Fucking phenomenal. Love him and you can see it means so much to him, as someone said this looks like HIS team and when he's in there we just click. Stay fit vin please!!
 
lets hope his injuries are behind him as he is amazing for us,this guy is a true blue and i hope he stays for life!!!

Amazing today but he is most of the time and his reaction to the Nasri goal sums him up

Go check out the Pellegrini thread from this time last week. Chock full of people saying that the club sacrificing Mancini to appease the players was the tail wagging the dog, and that man management skills were a virtual irrelevance in the pursuit of trophies. Kompers, Hart and Nasri all got a mention........

Fair enough, not really the day for provoking squabbles. That was possibly the best centre half display I've ever seen

Captain. Leader. World class. Majestic. Deserves every bit of praise coming his way. You can see why Barcelona would've paid whatever it took to take him this summer. He's in the top 3 centre halves in the world.
