are we actually in for this guy or is it just paper talk?
If we pass up on VVD and then Bonucci again refuses, what's your plan B?not an inspiring signing but if Pep wants, Pep can have.
Would rather wait and go back for Bonucci.

He's refused before. It might not all be about moneyhe's Italian, let's just make him an offer he can't refuse.
I just don't see the point in signing another B+ CB for a lot of money, but hey-ho.

I believe every transfer carries an element of risk. I'm always excited to see new players with a strong reputation join us, but I understand that it doesn't always pan out the way we want. On that basis, I find it hard to criticise Txiki et al.yes, we know. I just think we've spent enough on CBs and should be a lot more careful from now on.

when you've spent over £100m on CBs and £0 on full-backs in the past 3 seasons, and you've bought Mangala, I think there is room for some criticism particularly when we end up having to play Kolarov & Clichy in the same team. We've bought a lot of players we're taking a chance on in recent times, I like us to just buy a couple of "been there, done that" stars, especially at CB.
