Is this the only vulcan left?

The sound of those engines at full tilt ...just wow.
Any plans to make it a static attraction like the concorde?
There's one at Duxford which you can walk under. Breathtaking.Might put an entry in my diary for a visit to East Midlands airport as I'm only about an hour n a bit away.

I assumed that was the one originally at Woodford but that's still there and an Avro heritage centre is due to open on the Woodford site shortly. That should be worth a visit. There's one at Duxford which you can walk under. Breathtaking.
Was that in the Falklands war?Not when they wake you up every morning! Used to live on an RAF base and those things revving up made a bit if noise!
Also I must be one of the few people to have seen the damage one of the bombs from these things can do close up, the crater was huge!
Amazingly it doesn't seem to be flying over Chadd. Going over Warton & Samlesbury, which had nothing to do with it but not over Chadderton, where it was designed and the sub-assemblies were built. Coming into Barton from Warton over Westhoughton, Atherton & Tyldesley then turning SW to Lymm, where it's going to turn and fly up to Woodford via Knutsford. They flew over the Chadderton factory after the Falklands War.
Actually, looking at the route, it seems to be avoiding built-up areas, which I guess is understandable after Shoreham..
Is that it?
