City boys all played well even the cameo’s from Philips & Grealish.
For someone who wants to feed the poor Sir Marcus is a greedy twat who got lucky with second as Ward should get the assist for it but fuck it as long as the miserable selfish bastard is smiling eh?
Philips did more in 30 minutes than “Hendo” did in 60 minutes although the blood curling scream when Ramsey caught him was memorable. Philips must start next to Rice and Bellingham play a more advanced role.
Walker looked class without question he starts, Safegate only needs to manage his game time.
Foden caused confusion in the Welsh defence and created space for the others so he definitely starts and Mount continues to sit on the bench.
Presume Rashford will keep his place with Saka sitting it out until the sulky blank firing version is back.
The rest are as they were.
If Johnny Boulders had smashed that late chance in for a 4th he would have been the MOTM, he did not put a foot wrong in my view looked comfortable & long may it continue

Congratulations England. Men v Boys or Boyo’s.
After 10 mins you could see the control , passing and speed of the English team was way superior.
Best bits were Sir Phil’s assist and goal, Henderson’s defensive header in the Welsh box and Slabhead’s cross to the corner flag.
Worst bits were the dreadful Welsh defending undone by pressure (and Phil) and Ward making two poor attempts at saving.
St Marcus Geldof hit a good free kick but Ward made it look a worldie.
Anyway hope you win it.

Wales 0 - 3 Rashford (apparently)

Sky "Rashford MOTM by some distance"

He was good, against a totally abject Wales team no more than that. I said to my lad, has Pickford touched the ball yet, that was well into the second half!

Interesting that Maguire hasn't been mentioned today who tried his best to throw the game even against oppo that couldn't muster a pass between them. He was embarrassing and will not get away with that against a decent attacking side. (note USA game).

Thought Foden was excellent trying to make things happen, not giving the ball away no matter where it was played, should've scored the first goal really but St Selfish chose not to pass to him.

:-)

Media will always go overboard with whoever scores 2 goals In game in the World Cup - just the way it is

Rather that then the Media criticising young players
Just seen this……

Former England striker Gary Lineker has compared Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford to Brazil forward Vinicius Jr after his fine display for the Three Lions on Tuesday night

Somebody pick me off the floor…

I remember one opportunity where he could have squared it to Phil. The wife was fuming and giving it to Rashford blue style. However as usual I was the voice of reason and suggested that you couldn't blame Rashford for taking the shot on because we were 3 up at the time and he was on for a hat-trick in a World Cup and not many players get that opportunity.

She told me to shut up.
She was probably still fuming from the 1 in the first half that Phil started and got into the box to finish but MBE chose to pull it back go Bellingham

What gets me he was atrocious in the first half, absolutely fucking awful, gave the ball away on numerous occasions, did a Sterling by running down blind alleys, second half fired that free kick in,which is a good hit to be fair, and suddenly he’s motm, the saviour blah blah blah, the truth is Fodens part has much to be congratulated equally, but no it’s Sir Marcus now

Anyway when the hype dies down after today, normal service will resume when waistcoat has them both on bench again Sunday, you know as he wants to freshen it up -in other words Mount,Sakha,Sterling back into the fold no doubt
