Seen a few goals go in recently which should of been saved.
Mahrez didn’t have a good first season eitherI recall Rodri and Bernado not being spectacular in their first seasons.
I remember when Ilkay was getting pelters from some 'supporters', look at him now. Ake got a lot of stick. Bernardo had a bit of criticism after 2 or 3 lacklustre performances. Zinchenko was on the verge of having to leave City. Foden, Stones,Yaya, Tevez, Balotelli and so many more have been scapegoated over the years for one reason or another.
Ok, chat about it on a forum or in the pub, but don't abuse them in the stadium.
The players are not just players, they are also human beings. No one can know if they are carrying a bit of an injury or something is affecting them in their personal lives.
It is impossible for every player to perform at 100% in every game they play, just so long as they are trying their best, that's all I want.
We could play Zinchenko on the left wing and he wouldn't give the ball away. We really need so much more.We don't pay 100 million to players for retaining ball.
We have lots of them and grealish is no where top. Gundo, silva, rodri are masters in tight spaces.
Pep never told any one not to pass or score or shoot. Rodri did that today. Pep is only concern on losing the ball in midfield
I like the guy but there's something lacking, either confidance or skill and for £100m it shouldn't be either of them. Although and as mentioned he does draw players to himself opening up other areas. At Villa he was a big fish in a small pond and City are no small pond.I'm sure and hope Pep sees it differently.
