I've actually quite enjoyed some of the banter and debate with you lot on here to be honest. Sure, there's an element of abuse aimed in my direction , but I would expect that to some extent on any opposition forum. I've certainly seen it happen on Stoke's forum and sadly it's just the way it is. Unfortunately some feel the need to shout abuse thats a bit beyond the normal football banter, but you either let it go over your head, or you stop visiting the forum. simple really.

please treat them with respect, we have been somewhat rude to them lately and its not right. we can vet their posts at first so if they come on spouting shit or abuse we'll deal with them, if we do miss something you have a report button. as do they.

this is a football forum, not a war zone, lets show people we are decent fans, not arrogant, not cocky, just fans of our club, just as they are.

I am relatively new to this all this forum debate, behind the times you may say. However, I do enjoy debating and listening to opinions of fellow BLUES that is the reason i choose to be on here.

If I wanted to be involved with other supporters and discuss their opinions then I would be on a more general forum.

Is that not too obvious a thought, if you want to wind up, debate with other clubs supporters go on general forums.

I like to have a look in on your forum now and then (Im a Villa fan), It's certainly one of the best fan sites I visit and I read through the thread on what you did to the kid from Stockport as it was happening and had tears of laughter in my eyes at one time. I linked to the thread on it from my website but it had gone in the morning which I wasnt surprised about!

I can see the point of view on both sides with letting opposition fans post.

It inevetably leads to what starts as being banter leading to outright abuse and at the end of the day its a City board so you will always feel in the right!! Rightly so too.

I think if the visiting poster sticks to football type posts and manages to avoid the site wind ups they will always be appreciated by the proper fans who want to talk football and City have a lot of proper fans.

give this man a ceegar,well said.The site is a City site and there is no problem with other fans views, as de niro says if you dont like it you only have to click the red button,yes some do come on here just to be absolute tools and do get fired off but some actually do give good points over and have the crack,look at spursmad most people were shouting out for him in the transfer window,deeper shade of blue is ok most of the time,so lets enjoy the site for what it is,a bit of light hearted fun and debate

Morning all, obviously i've been browsing of late and just feel the need to reply to a couple of comments.
Longsight.....it is quite easy to notch up over 100 posts in a month when getting involved in football debates, replying to posts or having the banter etc. I never came on here originally for an argument and when i joined i was very impressed with the forum and the passion on here. Yes i expected a lot of shit and being up for a bit of banter i was prepared to give it back and because our teams were clashing 3 times in a couple of weeks then yes this can be quite amusing, thats why i asked to stay!!

However, even in that thread i was called everything under the sun, even when trying to talk football. Believe me mate all the insults in the world (inbreds,6-fingers etc etc) doesnt bother me in the slightest, just water off a ducks back but i felt it was wearing a bit thin which lead me to my "Goodbye" thread........Now this is where your comments on this thread pissed me off enough to prompt me to reply (which granted, i said i wouldn't). On that thread i did not and i repeat i did not call you ALL c***s!!! If you revert back to it i said "in no way am i placing you all in the same category as some of you have been ok and fair"......and i stand by that statement!! Infact its likely that most of the members on here fall into that category because it was only the same old names popping up who wanted nothing but an argument, which is great for a while but gets boring. And yes, maybe i was out of order myself with some of my comments!

Also longsight, you talk about my hipocrisy regarding the viera and fuller incidents? Yes i did say that viera should be banned but did i or did i not say when asked about fullers tackle that consistency should be upheld and fuller should be banned aswell?? Wheres the hypocrisy in that?

Anyway, from the same people i now expect the same old shit (inbred, Fingers, attention seeker etc etc) so go for your lives!!!

To all other blues fans, lets hope for a good game tomorrow night (which is always difficult against us i know) and good luck for the rest of the season.
