Wont happen as he is apparently here for the next 20 years!

Or so we are told by his fan boys.

"Dynasty"

Well, it's something which has been said a lot (that Roberto's here for the long haul) - so I'm just curious whether him choosing to leave this summer would be seen as betrayal by those who back him fully...

Are you two still coming up with hypothetical rubbish to tar him?

I wonder, though, if Mancini would be considered a disgrace if he wanted to go to Juve?

It'd be one hell of a backwards step - considering they aren't going to have CL football next season, and are unlikely to even have Europa League football to contend with.

Answer the question, what will you think of Mancini if, and read this next part very carefully, HE CHOOSES TO LEAVE THE CLUB?

Wouldn't it make you wonder about what's going on behind the scenes?

Ambitious people don't usually walk away from opportunities like this. They've usually chosen career over family a hundred times to get there.

So this crap manager that has no clue, and will never be good enough for City because he "hasn't won us the league" (in his first full season!!) and has ONLY turned a mid table side into a top four unit, and has ONLY taken this side to it's first major cup final for 30 years was appointed by our owners.

Now, as you all know, everyone who comes on this board has been a city fan for donkey's years (for the american and far eastern fans on here - all of whom used to hitch hike to maine road once a fortnight of course - that means a very very long time) so you will of course all remember the annual protests against our previous owner, Peter Swales, one of the main gripes of which was his inability to appoint the right manager.

So, the Mancini hate brigade (or daily mail/the sun readers as I prefer to think of you), how long before you start calling for the Sheik's head?

I mean, he appointed "this clown", didn;t he?

Or do you just want Jose?

You know, Jose, the special one, you know - that guy that's turned Real Madrid into world beaters...oh wait!

You know, that Jose, the one that would drop us like a cheap whore the second the United job becomes available. Probably in a year or two.

You know, that Jose that plays such scintillating football. You all saw the recent CL semi right? Did you SEE the positivity of that Madrid side? And the thoroughly professional way he accepted the (unlucky) defeat.

I seriously despair of City fans some(most) times.

The most ungrateful, disrespectful, unknowledgable and frankly bloody THICK bunch of ingrates that ever walked the earth.

I'm ashamed to be associated with some of you.

I'm not totally convinced mancini can deliver titles and camps league finals etc,but believe he should be given the time to prove it one way or another.
The fact that we were involved in the Thursday night league with all the hassle that seems to come with it has had a detrimental affect on our league form at times imo, couple this with the fa cup campaign and its not a great surprise that at times we've been below par.
The fa cup semi win was our biggest game of the season because the players proved to themselves that they could beat a top side when the chips were down, qualifying for the camps league is another milestone.
The players and manager, perhaps, have the talent its the self belief weve struggled with.
The following games will tell.

I'll answer that..

I'd think we'd lost a geat manager. Our first since Booky.

I'd apologise to him for the way he's neen treated by so many city fans (on here at least) that get their football knowledge and opinions from the tabloids and Sky.

I'd send him on hi way with my good wishes. And I'd blame the sizable minority of idiotic morons on here and other boards calling for the head of THE MOST SUCCESFUL MANAGER WE'VE HAD IN DECADES.

That answer your question?

Didn't see this anywhere, looks like he wants to stay (though he's aready said this several times before) so everyone can stop worrying about him leaving us on his own accord.

The Manchester City manager, Roberto Mancini, has reiterated his desire to remain in charge at Eastlands amid reports of an imminent return to Italy.

Mancini has been suggested as a possible candidate to replace Luigi Del Neri at Juventus but the former Internazionale coach told Gazzetta dello Sport: "I have not received any offers and in any case my priority is to achieve our stated aims with City in order to stay here and fight for the league title next season. I have a good team already but we will bring reinforcements."

City are in a strong position to finish in the Premier League's top four and take on Stoke City on Saturday in the FA Cup final looking to claim the club's first trophy in 35 years.

Meanwhile Mancini hopes he can persuade his captain Carlos Tevez to stay at the club. "Carlos told us back in December that he wants to go to Italy," Mancini said. "But if he changes his mind, I would be happy."

Mancini insisted Edin Dzeko and Mario Balotelli would remain at City next season. "Edin will score many goals next year with us while I am certain that Mario will stay," he said.
