Very similar circumstances to Doku: young and raw with a talent that can be developed with the right coaching. Doku’s performance in the cup final has persuaded Pep that this is the way to go now. Doku has developed well, let’s hope this guy can do the same.

Walker's form is a concern, he has been an excellent servant but against a tricky, fast winger eg Gordon he struggled. Akanji is a better more reliable option.

Walker still has games in him.

He can't dominate EVERYONE all the time.

He's a good pro and a warrior captain.

Next year might be the time to move a replacement in.
