as you see he has now added "poor judgement" and "hypocrisy" to the list - Bobby will be condemend as "a bit thick" before long - mark my words

I'm also not interested in the "but Rooney does it" or "Ferguson taps his watch" arguments, let those classless bastards do what they want, I'd prefer to see a serene, calm Mancini rising above all that.

I can forgive the first one because you could say it's a cultural thing but as a manager he should at least have learned from the negative press the first one brought. I love the guy but that's an error that the press will pick up on. As far as I can see, the press have been consistent, brandishing imaginary cards (by players and staff alike) is always reported on.
Bollocks.
They didn't report on Liverpool players trying to get Balotelli sent off. They wouldn't have reported on Rooney, Carrick, Jones trying to get Kompany sent off. They didn't even report on Milner trying to get Johnson sent off the other week.
They don't report on managers every game disputing decisions with the 4th official.
I'd rather it wasn't done, but I'd rather the refs made the correct decisions in the first place, and if one is going to be criticised for it everyone should be.
Personally I hop Bobby keeps doing it. It's a kind of slap in the face of officials cos they are inconsistent and they need as nothing else will be done.
I love the card waving, its so f&cking innocent and just shows passion. Anyone saying "please stop him its embarrassing" or "he should apologise" or all the other pussy reasons, you all need to shut the f*ck up cos this is football, its passionate and a lot of our players are international so they will all bring their attributes the game like Bobby does with his management.
Stop being so conservative, otherwise flick to the other channel and watch the gentleman's cricket.
Just focus on the game and the thrill during the match. Bobby is just part of the thrill!

He gets flustered under pressure, we've seen it before. It worries me. He's looked rattled this last few weeks as our form has dipped. This is just an extension of this. To be fair to him he's under immense pressure to deliver the title.
Please give it a rest, DD. We all know you have an anti-Mancini agenda. If he was to act cool like Sven all the time, the players would think he doesn't care and respond accordingly. He is showing his passionate nature without getting himself banned to the stands like other managers have been. I agree with the poster who reckons we should give him a set of red and yellow cards to wave at the fourth official rather than imaginary ones. After all, the fourth official has bugger-all influence on the game, unlike the referee who has to endure pressure from the players on the pitch.Didsbury Dave said:There are better, classier ways to make a point than running around waving cards like some bloke on the Kippax. We need someone with a cool head over the next four months. He needs to set the example.
