Well done Hughes

We were the better team and our piss poor defending and inability to close out a game cost us dear - AGAIN.

My faith in Hughes is wobbling.

If at the end of the season City have won nothing and nowhere near the top 4 then get rid but not now.

And then at the end of the season the tune will change to 'Let's give him until Christmas and see where we are...'

And then at Christmas it will be 'let's give him until the end of the season...'

Don't get it. He hasn't got it and isn't going to suddenly get it. It's blindingly obvious.

We are in serious danger of fucking up the greatest opportunity we will ever have by NOT changing the manager because we previous regimes have changed too often, and that my friends is the definition of 'typical City'. And the wheel keeps on turning...

Chelsea booted Ranieri after finishing second. Didn't do them any harm.

The fans lack of ambition for the club is staggering. Nowhere but at Man City could the fans of the world's richest club accept (and fucking defend) a manager with no track record who is delivering disappointing results.

Can you imagine Hughes being given a similar opportunity at ANY other club with such resources than Man City? Are the likes of Real, Inter, Barca, even Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea beating a path to our door for his services whenever jobs become available there?

Are they fuck. Get rid.

You make it sound as if we went into this match as red hot favourites. We were away to Liverpool, for crying out loud. We were never expected to walk all over them on their own patch.

bet you two jumped out of your chair when liverpool equalised.

pathetic comment mate, being content with mediocrity is something i wont stand for.
you go ahead though, maybe in 10 years we'll challenge for the title.fingers crossed eh??

Dear lord!
Maybe we'll go out and win 10-0 every week no matter who we play, and even then I suspect you will still fooking moan!

GET REAL!!!!!!!!

Just need Micah back now, results will begin to turn in our favour. Need a win vs Hull and a win vs Arsenal kids to get to semis of cup, and all will be going well.
(forget the freak 6 game draw run, it's just that - A FREAK)

I expect Spuds and Villa to drop off the pace for 4th at Crimbo. We're fighting Liverpool for 4th methinks.

Sums up my feelings perfectly

This is another decent result against a top 4 team. Well Done lads, pity we switch off at key moments, hopefully we will learn and learn fast.

My issues with Hughes are not about today.

If we'd managed to win one or two of the previous games we could and should have won in the previous half dozen games today would have been an okay point (but not great considering their woes, the way the game went and the fact that we led at one stage).

But we haven't.

We took the sting out of a game in the first half that liverpool had to win ,they didnt have a chance we were always going to step it up second half and played them of the park ,hughes got it right big time today the football in the second half was awsome and there confidence will grow massivly from that ,you watch us go now ,we were unfortunate again but played some lovely football and stevie ireland back to his best and tevez superb and what a header from ade and lescot had great game .come on were on our way ..

I have no complaints about Hughes today, I think a couple of players need to shoulder the blame today.

We looked solid in the first half, i didnt have many monets of panic. We went a goal down from a free kick, you cant account for Zab and his awfull at times tackling. what we all knew was how good Gerrard is from that position, when he whips the ball in like that its anyones guess as to what happens.

After the goal he shown us the kind of tacticl awareness we have been saying he hasnt got. We needed to make a change and imo he made the right one, the easy choice would be to take off DeJong and go for another attacker. Once he brought on Tevez i didnt see anyone but us winning that game.

Their last goal, all the training and tactics in the world wont help you if the players switch off.
