Everyone is talking about Rodri but is not his job to bring the ball forward, his main job is to protect the back 4, which he does. The problem today was that we only needed on of Gundogan(was very good today) /Rodri + Bernardo. Wrong tactics again.

The club can't keep recruiting mediocre players for £50-60m and expecting to do well.

Cancelo, Rodri, Mendy are all rubbish.

Jesus works hard but is never a main striker, doesn't have the movement, anticipation and instinct top strikers do.

Sterling has regressed. Brings nothing to the team at the moment except missing chances.

Great for the last 5 mins. I’d suggest it’s us, not him.

It wasn`t the other players fault that he consistently dawdled on the ball or hit regular misplaced passes.By the same token the lad can have an off game ... compared to some who consistently play poorly.
