He did but he hasn’t been great of late .
He relys on movement. Not his fault the front three are statues at the moment.

.There's been a few posts in here throwing personal abuse at other posters. We don't need it, and
I watched Masterchef second half
He was obviously asked to do a job of making up an extra midfielder when we were in possession, and in midfield I thought he did a great job of progressing the ball forward. If you are judging him as a fullback tonight and compared to what he has done before then I could see why you might be frustrated about him not getting forward and offering width. But for me he had clearly been given other responsibilities that I thought he did well.
said it the other day...KDB needs to be playing a little deeper...gives him chance to get on the ball more and then also drive through the midfield with it...too high upt he pitch and he doesnt get that chance - it nullifies his threat.I agree totally, playing high up with his back to the goal is ruining his game. I think Pep is trying to compensate for loss of Merlin, but KdB is no Merlin - nobody is Merlin. Foden the same. It looks almost like Southgate is managing us at the moment.
Just finding it so hard to watch us, football in general really. That doesn't surprise many of us.
Again.Don't panic. We are still in a decent position, just need to get a run together.
You can't win every game 5-0.
But yes, two points lost tonight.
And Slaven obviously getting sack in the morning. Allardyce has already been lined up as a replacement. Unbelievable Jeff!Fair play to WBA, good point for them. Shite performance from City though.
It’s like he doesn’t want to be a striker. The one place you want him to be and he’s never there, total waste of fucking time. Also makes defenses jobs so easy, they know he always miles away from where he needs to be and they must love that.right i looked at some stats and jesus in the first half touch the ball once in the box and never had a shot ???
you still think he is a striker pep ?? if i was a striker playing at home vs the one of the bottom clubs and only touch the in the box once in the first half. i would not come out for the 2nd half
Agree every team is playing awful. Not watched one decent game this seasonJust finding it so hard to watch us, football in general really.
Reminds me of the old Billy Connolly routine.Looks like we have a bunch of wannabe managers on this forum and a bunch of folks who want a scapegoat. Mahrez, Mendy, Cancelo, Rodri, Gundo, Sterling are the usual ones, along with Pep, a man that has won us more trophies than anyone. If any of those chances that hit the goalies legs had gone in, the same people would be singing a different tune and Pep would be back to being the messiah. Just be constructive, stop whining and get behind your team. That’s what supporters are supposed to do.......support, or shut up.
They obviously didn’t watch closely... very sloppy all night.dont go on the muen ratings page then - they reckon he was the best attacking threat on the pitch!
Still not been great for me, but he’s not on his own is he.He relys on movement. Not his fault the front three are statues at the moment.
Exactly this! We’re painful to watch right now, devoid of any creativity at all...Honestly that’s the worst thing you can be I reckon. I’d rather be fun and lose but boring is just a kiss of death. Like we’ll all take the piss out of Jose but hes boring and at least the win ffs
I get what you are saying, but it's the managers fault that other managers know that if they pack out their defence there is a good chance they'll get something. The slow sideways football is the managers fault. Playing Rodri and Gundogan together is the managers fault. After the '18 & '19 season I never thought I would ever question him, but for the money spent on this team, this is not good enough. After such a negative performance on Saturday to earn a hard earned point at Old Trafford, to then knock out that shit show tonight its only natural that people question the manager.
Via scoring 100 goals per season, and getting 198 points combined in 2 of them, it's a very long time since those 4 were together. How have we somehow gone from Tevez Aguero Dzeko Balotelli to playing a number 9 with zero goal threat?
