West Brom Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

It's ridiculous to think that we won 6-1 away at OT earlier and now they are on level with us.

United are favourites now IMO. Look at their results and they got like 8 odd players injured.

Are they fuck favorites, we've played Chelsea, United, Liverpool and Spurs away, they've only played Liverpool away. We'll win it on home games.

Sorry mate, they are favourites. Firstly they are winning comfortably without key players. Secondly, its true they come strong in the second part of season. thirdly Fergie will use champs league exit as a reason to go and stamp their authority that they still are the best team. Champs usually find a last minute winner while playing below par.

We're a top top team who just failed to score today, the fixtures we've had to play have been beyond tough and have taken their toll. Anyone who are moaning about city need to get real as we've been beyond brilliant so far and will still wim the league, some of you need to get a bit tougher and realise even teams like Barcelona don't just win a league at a canter.

if I hear another moan about "we've lost this league now" I will personally come around to your bedroom and slap your chubby face you feckin tarts.

CTID.

dzekos not even fully fit for fuck sake. criticizing the manager for playing a guy whos not fucking fit, what a joke

Had a feeling we wouldn't win today. Hodgson seems to get the better of us whenever we come up against one of his teams.
Same here. Had it as a draw. It is diffifcult to play agaisnt a team that play ten men behind the ball at home but we were just not firing on all cylinders today. The worrying thing is that they've been beaten by all of the top 8 teams that have gone there and only managed a draw v Fulham.

Milner, Nasri, Silva & Aguero were all shit. Balotelli a bit better, Yaya got caught in possession too many times and was too slow to distribute the ball other times. At least De Jong moves it quickly. Not one of the front 5 had anything like a half-decent game and it's simply no good starting without one of Barry or De Jong in the line-up.

So we drew to a fighting west brom, away from home. We are hot and cold with this club, have been since i can remember back.

Dzeko came on for 10 minutes after being injured, possibly still carrying a knock, but with the rate of games we are due to play, we need all we have.

You know what could have been worse.....

We could of LOST!!!!!!!

Lets get over it eh.

Can't believe some of the posts here. Yes we should have won but like someone said. We've been so used to winning even a draw away from home at an in form team feels like a defeat.

We are still top.

We didn't lose.

United still have to go to Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea and of course play us at our place.

A win next week and all is good in the world.

We are not going to smash teams every week, below par performance but still TOP of the league and a long way to go so get behind em lads.

This is very true tbh. I find 4-4-2 an annoyingly dated system on the European stage but in the Premier League most teams still can't defend against two fast wingers smashing in crosses and it could be a Plan B for us when we keep running into brick walls in the middle, though we'd need another winger.

Well explain him missing every pass, every run every movement he was poor today. But I am not worried we beat the better teams and will get 3 points when the scum come here.

It happens every team has off days.

Can't be too disappointed at any point away from home

Utd will go away and slip up.....they wont have the luxury of playing a 10 man Wigan every week

But as mancini warned, we will go 2nd soon. Doesn't mean it's all over. Just as it wasn't all over when we won 6-1

We have the advantage because of the games Utd have to play away from home
