West Brom Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

Re: Some complete drama queen has just been on GMR

Probably a Rag ringing from the pub on a wind-up mission.

As they were saying a few weeks ago, no titles are won at this time of the season.

Maybe a good time to lump on us as the price is bound to lengthen?

Did enough to win it but didn't get the breaks and Brom played out of thier skins and worked really hard...sometimes in games like this the more direct style of spurs/utd works better but we don't play that way...Balo's shot was inches from goal of the season so far...final ball not the best and we don't look as fluid at the moment but we are still top. Whilst we have had a brilliant start bear in mind Utd's start is a record for them too...plenty to play for and a long way to go and very much looking like a 2 horse race.
We are stronger at this stage than last season...this will go to the wire.

have a horrible feeling we will slowly drift away from the rags. Can see Fergie has his team focused and when they get all their players back I cant see them losing many points. If we continue to start games like that we'll give up a few draws hence they'll win it way before our home game with the rags.

Before anyone says anything i'm on my best behaviour.

Oh here we fucking go.....the bullshit kid is on.

bloody hell...utd were playng wigan at home......they will come up against a lot better teams home and away and struggle.

the league will be very close...closer than ever.....one or two points between the top few in my opinion.....we will drop more points but so will arse liverpool utd and chelski.....utd will not beat everyone esp when it comes to teams like chelski, arse liverpool and some of the other in mid table....and dont forget spurs in this they will have a big say

if we dont win the league this year so be it...we will go on challebnging till we do...we are already closer to it than we have ever been since the start of the premiership so we are making the prgress that we want to see.....and we will continue to challenge for it every year...some times we will be successful...sometimes we wont

You can talk what you want, call people with names and such but these matches should be won by title contenders and top quality team.

We should not let rags to level with us, not after being much better side for most of the season and not after bashing them on their own backyard, and not after being completely free of injuries unlike them.

Not completely our own fault as their results are nothing but amazing considering their team quality and injury problems but at least this match should be won.

Can't explain how gutted I am. I know the season is long, I know lot of matches are set to be played for both teams but league table should not look like this.

Sorry mate, they are favourites. Firstly they are winning comfortably without key players. Secondly, its true they come strong in the second part of season. thirdly Fergie will use champs league exit as a reason to go and stamp their authority that they still are the best team. Champs usually find a last minute winner while playing below par.

It's all well and good saying they are stronger in the second part of the season but when you actually look at their results this season, maybe that's not going to be very likely. 18 games in and they've lost 1 and drawn 3, assuming they win their next game that will be just 9 points dropped in the first half of the season. I honestly can't see how they will better that in the remaining 19 games especially when they have to go away to the likes of us, Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal etc. If they manage that feat then fair play to them.

Not sure what it is with milner at the moment but whats with all the long balls he keeps on knocking in?

Mario was on the left and our 2 smallest players where in the box there is no need for long balls it just stunk of not knowing what to do so i will try this?

Was kalo as bad as it looked on the feed i had on my laptop? the commentator said he was at fault for some thing but i couldn't see it? and why was lescot not playing?

It just seemed today we ran out of ideas it's not the end of the world we will bounce back but its a hard place to go sunderland and i hope our lads can shut the press up like we have all season.

Not really sure what to say about todays game. West Brom defended well, we had a couple of great opportunities but they had a pretty easy header at the other end. For all our possession we didn't really cut them open much. Winning the title is always tough, going to be a lot more tougher now that we dont have the luxury of a 5 point lead.

Re: Some complete drama queen has just been on GMR

some people are knobs, throughout the season we will have dips but we will come back again
i said after the derby win that they had a run of games alot easier than ours and we are still there strong so im very happy still with us
we didnt lose the league today but we as fans certainly know it wont be easy and we and the team will step up

come on city

just because sum of u expected to roll wba over we didn't. Its the end of the world.

Another point away from home.

Sum series shit houses on this thread. Wouldn't want to be in the trenches with you.

Top of the league 4 new year! Ctid
Utd will go away from home in the New Year and play teams set up like WBA. They'll win most. They'll also draw and maybe lose too.

Chelsea and Liverpool drew at home.

Anybody who thinks we've blown it. Look at it dispassionately. We've got one trip away in the top six in the second half. The rags have four. Spurs have four. Given a free choice I'm taking our position; top, plus five GD, one top six away trip to go.
