A tough game but one which we should win if playing anywhere near to our capabilities, which of late we seem to be getting close to
The return of Ferna is a massive boost and will allow Pellers to rotate the the midfielders which with all the games coming up will be vital in keeping all the squad fresh.
This is the part of the season where having a quality squad becomes vital and I can see us and Arsenal pulling away over the next month or so and the fact most of the top teams have to visit the Etihad still puts us in prime position

Hi Guys, West Ham Fan here.

enjoy our games with yourselves. Like to see City do well and hopefully we can try and follow your footsteps with our summer move. Perhaps not as quick with the investment or title but slowly.

Should be a good one on Saturday, our home form has gone unrecognized I think but like yourselves, we have had some tough injuries this season.

Hopefully Bilic plays 4231 instead of 433 again but we will see.

Good luck, i'll keep an eye on this thread.
Going to the game saturday where,s the best place for apint?

Always had a soft spot for the Hammers, great club with real fans. This could be pivotal moment in our season, a win here really puts the pressure on Arsene Winger's mob and with Chelski improving let's see if the Arse will start twitching!

This is our preview of the game, quite a lot of City content. Hope it is allowed to post it. Apologies if not. And hope you enjoy, hopefully you subscribe as we will have a review up on Saturday night.

The fact your mate thinks you have a "handful" of players who would get into our fully fit 11 made me laugh

I've touched on this a few times. We've only managed to beat Palace(twice) and Southampton in the current top 10, whereas we haven't lost against the bottom 10 and have only dropped points against Everton at home and Villa away. We've turned into nothing but flat track bullys this season. It's a truly dismal record that needs to change instantly if we want to win the league. you can't win the league without beating any of your direct rivals. we shouldn't really be anywhere near the top of the league with that kind of record, that's usually the kind of record you see from Europa league teams, it shows just how poor the rest of the so called top teams have been too.

I think we can't really afford to lose again in the league until at least the Liverpool game in March. Realistically, we can only really afford another 1-2 losses and probably need to win all of our remaining home games too which isn't going to be easy with the top 5 all yet to come to the Etihad,

This isn't complacency, but I choose to put a slightly more positive spin on our record against the top. We got draws away at Leicester and United. They will have to look at that as two points dropped (as we have to look at the Everton result as two points dropped). We weren't great in either game, but we never looked threatened. Tottenham was diabolical, with two clear offside goals that threw the game completely. I genuinely believe that should and would have been an entirely different result. I think they were so astonished by those decisions that the team never got back onto an even keel The only game of the four where we clearly came up short — and not by a disgraceful margin, far from it — was against Arsenal. I have them well worth their victory on the night. They were just better than us.
For my money a really bad result, which we may live to regret, is Villa away. Not to have taken the three points there does not look at all like title contending form. It hasn't been a great season, and is in no comparable to that astonishing run of good football in 2013-14, but we're still very much in it, with virtually everyone at the top to come to us. This match is major: win it, and it's a clear statement of intent. We must be aiming to take the three points. It won't be easy, but that's what champions do. They start to win the key away games in the second half of the season. Even a draw's not enough at this point.

Edit: the word "clear" comes up too often in this post. Note to myself: extend vocabulary.

I don't know a lot about Besic just that he dominated the Chelsea triangle on his own last Sat. Thought he was quite impressive.
On his own?
So Barry was non existent? You know what?? The day that dirty **** reach anywhere near Barry"s quality pass, vision, game reading ability, anticipation, aerial dual ,tackles..etc than you come here and tell us to keep an eye on that ****.
Btw our next game is against hammers .

As I said don't know an awful lot about him. All I know was he was brilliant against Chelsea. All of my mates thought so as well. None of us has any bias for or against him. Maybe it was a lucky one off, but on that day he was brilliant. Barry good too of course, but Besic was the one who stood out.

I seem to have hit a nerve here, and I have no idea why...
