I joined this site 11 years ago after the semi final. The site was full of - justifiably - gloomy City fans cursing their luck and choice of team - i offered an arm around the shoulder and said things would get better. Well looky looky at you now ! Fucking laughably bad situation we are in - I think we are playing at the level of sunderland last year - ie. we would sink in the championship. The club is leaderless, the team is gutless. Only decent thing is the lads- we will be there sunday- Ive already spent about £300 before I get on the train - Im looking forward to seeing the best side in europe (!) and likely the biggest prem goals scored total. I shall drink, laugh and sing and hope for better days #irons
My son and his mates (all Blues) have been friends with a group of Hammers fans since meeting them at the World Cup in Germany in 2006.

They meet up all the time both in London and Manchester and keep in touch by social media at other times.

I have met two of them and they are really sound lads, you definitely do not deserve what you are getting served up with at this moment in time.

The missus is a Hammer so could rather do with this being a quiet 2-0 with no dramas. Just this once, ok?

Hello and welcome. Personally, there's a few things that will give me more joy than West Ham bouncing back and consequently staying up. I do have a soft spot for your club and it's not just because of Joe Hart and Zabaleta, I certainly cannot put my finger to it. I was gutted and indeed surprised when I heard that Bilic was eased of his role but more perplexing was your club's decision to hire Moyes. Having said all that, I do believe this is going to be another difficult game for us as your lot would adopted every thing in their power to make life difficult for us. This is the premier league where all of a sudden you see a bottom of the league side not rolling over to a supposed top club. I wish you all the best for the rest of the season (starting from 10th December onwards. Lol)

Thanks. Our problems start at the top and cascade down. We were conned into leaving our home on the proviso we would start challenging the "next level" when all the board have done is take, take, take. We do things on the cheap (see Hart and Zab), in fact I think our current back 5 cost us 16.5m in transfer fees, we mess around in the transfer market by not signing players in the positions that the manager identifies and then publicly berate him for poor results. We are a joke from top to bottom.

I've seen a few relegations in my time as a Hammer, none are as scary as this one. I'm not worried about playing in the fizzy next season, but I truly despair at what is going to happen to us long term with these parasites "running" us.

On our Man City player...Hart still has massive question marks for me. His decision making seems diabolical at times and he seems to be very slow at getting down to his left. Zab is probably one of the only players that will be able to come out of this season with any sort of credibility, but again he's culpable for a large proportion of our goals conceded. I am NOT looking forward to seeing that young, German fella you guys have on the left up against him.

On the match... We have absolutely no pace in the team. We have a brilliant goal scorer in Hernandez, but no creativity to get the ball into him. Our defence is at sixes and sevens, which if a score, would flatter us. We have no bite in the midfield, no one willing to put a boot in and I struggle to remember putting more than 4 or 5 passes together.

It's a horrible time to be a West Ham fan right now.

Hoping for a good attacking game.
Problem is the games we expect to win with ease.. are never the case. We should of technically battered everton this year judging by there performances this season but managed a draw.
Hoping for a big 3 points. But have a feeling it will be a little tighter than we expect especially with a few players needing a rest.

I think that Diaz should play against Whammers from the start.-RW - what a boost for the lad if Pep gave him the nod.
Razor to come on later.

Could Mendy be risked - lol - after his sprint down the line last night, !!! - ?

This is another must win game. We could do with the Arsenal v rags game being a draw. As this would put us 10pts ahead of the rags and 13pts clear of the Arsenal. If this happens it should force Jose to be more attack minded than he usually is in the derby.

We need to be looking at this week and then the Derby and looking at a potential 14-15 point lead.
