I don't like Moyes and I think the decision to get rid of Bilic at the time they did it was daft, their fixtures coming up at the time looked all tough and so it has been proven, 1 point from is all he has got so far, Bilic would not have done worse. So I do hope we put a hatful past them, but it does depend on getting ahead early, any team in this league can play anti-football to try and keep the score down, West Ham included, but if we get an early goal, the writing will be on the wall

Well Mike Dean loves dishing out the cards for us, remember he allowed Bournemouth to turn into a bunch of thugs against us and kick us off the park without approach and then sent off Sterling. Can see us picking up soft yellows or a debatable red with the derby coming up

Bernardo G.Jesus Sterling
Silva De Bruyne
Gundogan
Danilo Mangala Otamendi Walker
Ederson

Bravo, Delph, Kompany, Toure, Brahim/Foden/Zinchenko, Sane, Aguero

Shouldn't risk Sane, Dinho or Kompany as all on 4 bookings (Sane got a yellow in EFL), esp the latter 2 given their defensive roles.
I wouldn't want to risk Delph either tbh, tho with 3 resting already, I can see him starting for sake of stability
Bernardo on left for width. FBs are gonna need to be quite narrow at times to help Gundo out at DM
G.Jesus over Aguero as I feel he is better at arriving in the box for pullbacks

No reason we don't torch them if the 47 year old granny-shagger can put 3 past them. I don't think Kompany should be playing 3 straight games in quick succession especially right before the derby.

- - - - - - Gabriel Jesus
Sane - - - - - - - - - - - - Sterling
- - - D. Silva - - - De Bruyne
- - - - - -Fernandinho
Delph - - - - - - - - - - - - Danilo
- - - - Mangala - Otamendi
- - - - - - - Ederson

I'd be wary of Andy Carroll seeing how vulnerable we were in the air against Soton. City grind it then pull away 3-1.

Sané, Kompany & Fernandiho should be no where near the starting xi.
All on 4 bookings and we need to win the game without them.

I feel some of our players need a good rest.

Hard to do that over this festive period, Just against Shakhtar & Leicester and play a total dif 11, If possible.

Jesus
Sane
Bernardo
Gundogan
Silva
Yaya
Danilo
Mangala
Otamendi
Walker
Ederson

Agree with resting Kompany & Dinho, but surely Sane should be able to be trusted to play without getting booked!!

Him against Zabba (or indeed anyone) could potentially win us the match....we don't want to be changing too many seeing as the over-played players can all have a rest midweek.

Win the game and win it well.

I just wish we weren't playing a team who's been thumped by Everton a couple of days ago. Very few sides -even WHU - get trounced twice in succession. They usually tighten their defence a lot.

the lads on 4 bookings sit this one out then if they pick one up in the derby they sit Leicester out and not tottenham

True, but they are in shambles and will be missing Carroll, Hernandez, Hart, maybe Reid...that's a lot to overcome for a team that doesn't have much quality to start

I don't think West Ham have it in them to defend like Southampton or Huddersfield have done in the last two games. Heavy rotation here, give some players a few days holiday and a week long rest before the derby, we're seeing all the other big sides rotate and still win well but we're still using the same 14 or so players. It will hurt us sooner rather than later if we don't start using the squad.

Ederson

Danilo Otamendi Mangala Delph

Gundogan Yaya Silva

Sterling Jesus Bernardo

More than good enough to beat a West Ham side all over the place right now.
I agree, give some a rest, keep them benched if we need em. Danilo, Bernado, they both need game time. We should have enough to beat West ham. Would like to see an open game but I doubt it!

Leroy Sané missed the Southampton game because he was 'sick' with a fever. Pep confirms that the German has trained and is available to face West Ham.

Pep says Yaya Touré and Gundogan are the alternatives to play in Fernandinho's position if he's rested/injured/suspended

Pep on Raheem's future/contract renewal: "It’s not my business right now, this is for Txiki. I think I was clear at the beginning of the season when Arsenal wanted him, and we said absolutely not."
