Except that the forecast for Sheffield is worse.
You are right it says winds of 46mph at 4pm. However if that is correct I can't see the authorities in Sheffield (of all places after Hillsborough etc) taking any risks. We will all have to wait and see. I will leave it till 2pm to decide but I am only 30 miles from the Etihad.
 
If it does go ahead, it will visibly be the smallest Prem crowd we will have had all season.

It's pretty bad here in Alty and Sale right now, branches and trees all over the shop.

It's all half term for a lot of schools this week and plenty of families will be away.

Which is great for empty roads near me!

I'm in Alty been battering us for a few hours now.
 
There's already countless cancellations across a variety of sports listed on the BBC. I've no doubt that the PL / Sky coven will know better than government advice about unnecessary travel though.
